Chanyeol is the last member to join as a vocalist and lead rapper of the boy group EXO. Together with 11 other group mates they debuted under SM Entertainment in 2012 with MAMA. The hexagon logo of EXO was designed by him.

 

In terms special talents, he is known for playing various instruments and acting. In his free time he enjoys listening to music (hip-hop, rap), composing songs and writing lyrics. One of his dreams is to have his own compositions featured in one of EXOs albums. Music is his passion. Nonethless if he wouldn't have become an idol, he stated he'd like be either a computer engineer, archeologist or astronomer.

 

Concerning his personality, living up to his nicknames he has a very bright personality and is very easy going. Warning: The longer you know him, the more mischievous he becomes. However he is also very understanding and rarely gets angry. If he does, he may turn into a devil. His partner for causing mischiefs is non other than Bacon. Because of his expressive ways and playful attitude, he has made himself a name as king of derps, which you may notice from various fancams or memes of him derping around.
