Perhaps it was her father's persistant behavior, wanting to aim for something that would always somehow be a tad bit too far from his reach. Or, her mother who indulged herself in nicotine and bottles of booze. Either way, Jiyeon was brought up in a household that merely provided some form of shelter for her- minus the love and affection. Her life wasn't a sob story, nor is it a fairytale. As a child, she came to a conclusion that the affection a fragile heart like hers needed isn't found in the place called 'home.' And it didn't take a rocket scientist to wander, on an eternal journey to find the love elsewhere. She found it- of course- in the form of grades, knowledge, and praises. From her peers, teachers, from the awards she'd stash away from her parents because they never did really care. She was isolated at home, but found fame in the little island she came from. Soon, her mother's wellbeing was shrugged off, disregard with the mere thought that there was never a moment in which Jiyeon received any care, so why should she reciprocate something that was never there? It was a bitter thought, but it was somewhat her morals. Her father was too obsessed with the world of business and the success he could only imagine but never obtain. He took was soon wiped off from her priorities. Jiyeon invested her time, tears, sweat into her studies to assure she received the highest grades in each final and when the time came, she received the scholarship all students hunger for.

Sub Section

Now in the city, despite her parents' protests of her leaving, she found peace. She left the burdening home and took a step into a more advanced world for people like her. Her parents had technically disowned her the minute she stepped foot out of the household, but there were no grudges held. It felt no different than before. However, being disowned did mean she was now independant, having to pay for her rent, food, and certain student loans by herself. Despite the scholarship, the college she's enrolled in is prestigious and was at the top of all student's list. Being considered would have been an honor for a student like Jiyeon, however she aimed high and even though the numbers on the bills kept increasing, she was persistant on paying them off. Anything to not return to the island she'd finally escaped from.

01 GMT +8; I have school, do keep that in mind. My replies tend to be slow at times.

02 I do both 3rd pov and 1st detailed. I'm quite indecisive so it's your pick. But I believe I do better at 3rd.

03 At times I do have plots in mind, and if I ask I probably have some gist of how I'd want our plot to play out. However, if you ask I do expect for you to have something in mind. If not, at least some combination of both of our ideas.

04 I don't do straight up romance plot that determines who I end up with. I tend to be pretty picky with relationships and it takes me a while. I am, however, open to fluff.

05 No /death/instant . I am interested in angst, drama, slight fluff, crime/mystery.
