ahn heeyeon hani 20 swimmer captain
general. hani's an aloof, observant swimmer who's dedicated to her sport. she's been swimming since she was seven and loves being on water more than she likes being on land. she prefers keeping her dialogue short and to the point and hates to ramble. she's forgetful and loses things often.
chances are you'll either find hani at the swimming pool, at the gym, or at the mall. she does yoga and running as cross training to improve her form and speed. she likes dyeing her hair different colors but forgets that the chlorine in the pool messes it up everytime she forgets her cap.
hani specialises in backstroke and freestyle, is well known for her form but personally believes she lacks in speed.
in terms of competitions, she's competed at national and regional levels, and has ranked in the top ten in her age range. she has around four gold medals five silvers and one bronze since joining the academy.
with her team, she's generally motherly and attentive to their needs. despite not talking much, her observant nature makes her sensitive to their actions, and will nurse them back to health when they're sick if need be.
background. being born in a coastal city has it's perks, and one of them would be the ability to go to the beach whenever. hani especially enjoyed going to the beach in the summer, because the water would be warm enough to swim in.
however, when her family moved to another city, hani was devastated. there was no beach to go to, no waves to watch, no water to play with. that is until she saw an indoor pool during an elementary school trip and practically begged her parents to take her there.
she began visiting regularly until the owners suggested to her parents to put her into swimming lessons. from there, she started competitions until she became one of the top swimmers in her city. in middle school, her advisors all acknowledged her swimming abilities and suggested that she should look into being recruited in a sports academy.
that's how she ended up in victory, with her goals set on reaching the olympics. however, it was a shaky start, being so intimidated by the seniors at first that she practiced night and day without rest. it took a toll to her joints, especially at the knees and she had to stop for a year to receive intensive therapy. and while it wasn't as worse as it was during that year, hani spends her weekends at physical therapy.
