about the roleplay
( Behind Bars Roleplay opened on July 9th 2016: An original prison rp inspired by Orange is the new Black.) Cyan Prison has been established for over 35 years. It is fairly new compared to the other correctional institutes, but don't ever underestimate them. The prison is home to inmates who had convicted crimes ranging from theft to even massacre. It houses people of all colour, gender and identity.
Here, we have officers who are on guard 24/7. Fail to cooperate with them and you'll be in deep trouble, and in Cyan, you don't want trouble.
It's a place filled with those who have a clear mind, the rebels, and the psychotics. You are under arrest.

RULES & Guidelines TO FOLLOW
1. This is an alternate universed roleplay. You are not idols here, but instead, you're either an inmate or an officer. We do accept internationals, yay! The roleplay setting/location is at a prison.
2. We encourage serious roleplaying, and this means you're to either roleplay in detailed first pov or third pov. Strictly no one liners. Favouriting is a must, upvotes are highly appreciated!
3. Officers are not allowed to be seen in a relationship with inmates. If you intend on making this happen in your plot, please keep in mind that you have to keep the relationship a secret. If the higher authority finds out, the officer will be sent to prison as well and the inmate will be placed in maximum security.
4. However, please inform the admin or comment below and let us know if your characters are in a relationship so we can add you to the couple list. Same applies to going on a hiatus and leaving. Keep us informed!
5. Be free to love whoever you want, but be careful. P.S: Dating ban lasts for a week. Remember to include your favourite colour in the application form.
6. Please keep ooc drama at a minimum. In character drama is encouraged, only if both parties consents to it.
7. is only allowed at rooms that has M on it. Please, no ing infront of the officers and other inmates (unless you're into that, not gonna judge).
8. I know that all of you have lives, but please try your best to keep yourself active, thank you!
