FAQ:

01. How does this roleplay work?
First off, this roleplay is a circus and circuses usually go around from city to city, displaying their attractions. This circus works the same way. Every month or two, we will post an announcement and perhaps call for a poll from the roleplayers to decide what's our next location. The circus workers and performers will follow the circus, of course, but for the dreamers, you can either choose to follow the circus to wherever they go or reset/change your character when you feel like you don't want to follow the circus anymore and wish to start as a character that is completely new to the circus. In short, this is like a society roleplay a circus roleplay.

Please make sure to check the announcements frequently for events updates as there will be quite a few.

02. Can Dreamers become workers and vice versa?
No, unfortunately they cannot. This can only happen if you change your characters entirely.

03. Who are the Ringmasters and their assistants?
Ringmasters are roleplayed by the admins and they are the ones who control the magic flow within the circus and the ones who know what's going on. They're enigmas, basically. Nobody knows what to make about them except the three  are close and extremely smart and powerful.

Each of the Ringmasters will have an assistant, handpicked by them. The assistants mingle with the Circus mates when the Ringmasters are unable to do so. For more information, please proceed to the character types page

04. Is the Circus always open?
Yes, it is, but only after Opening Night, aka the first event aka the lighting of the Bonfire aka the First Act. It is currently in the Prologue stage and roleplaying within the Circus can only be done by performers until the Bonfire is lit (as of 18 May 2014).

05. Are those in the Circus aware of magic?
They might be, if they are very very very astute or if they happen to be close to the Ringmasters and/or their Assistants and they are let in on the secret. Most of them are not supposed to be aware of the existence of magic and they attribute the workings of the Circus to science and technology.
