WELCOME TO IUVENES City

First off.. Hello everyone and thank you very (very very very) much for joining!! I'm really happy we already have enough people to get the rping started. Of course, me (Taegyun) and the other admins Sumin and Mayu are advertising hardworkingly to get even more awesome people to join! On this note, I would like to present a big 'Thank You' to said fellow admins for agreeing to help me out and doing things just the way I like it, even though I didn't even tell them what they had to do. This is probably a bit cheesy right now, but I'm an emotional person so there *^*

It's incredibely rare to find people who are actually willing to do things and get things done without you having to constantly poke them about it and I would like to say that I very much appreciate you guys' help. Also to the rpers who are doing what they do (hopefully haha) and thereby also keeping this place active. Because in the end, great admins can only do so much: It depends on the characters to keep this place alive and kicking. At this point I would like to remind everyone, that rping in rooms as well as on walls is very much appreciated and if you have a room you would like added (public or private room) please do not hesitate to post in the Request Room and it will be added for you as soon as possible!

Just for the heck of it, I would like to share how I actually came to make this role-play... Well, in another RP people were talking in the OOC Room - please use it at your discretion here aswell - about what makes the perfect role-play. There were many theories, many ideas, but nobody could really get their finger on it. And so, I admit, I took their ideas, threw them in the mixer and poured myself a nice fruit milkshake called 'Iuvenes City'. Or not. In fact, I wrote an important Biology exam today and it was hell. You know, puzzling hints from the too-kind-for-your-own-good supervisor, weird graphs that sort of prove the opposite to what is the correct answer and all that jazz. Well, since I'm a procrastinator by choice, I didn't learn a thing beforehand. So here I sat in front of my computer, at 6pm.. telling myself that I should probably look at something for the coming exam. Did I do anything? We all know the answer: of course not. Instead, I went on RPR and decide to make a new role-play. I spent a good 6 hours thinking it up, making the layouts, choosing a name (that took the longest and I still think Iuvenes is gramatically incorrect here... but oh well, it's been too long since I had latin).

I'm probably boring you here, so, next to the welcome message (yes, this is supposed to be a welcome message), this announcement serves the purpose about informing you about the famed - or not-so-famed "Iuvenes Festival of Fun". There is already some information about this in the description, but I will repeat it here to freshen up your memory. It always lasts a week and is recurring, but it's elements keep changing. There is no set date and there never will be. Just.. some day, you will have a notice that you received an announcement, you will hopefully not ignore it and will find out, the the festival is in town!! Lots of different things will be included: games, competitions, matchmaking events, etc. Suggestions are always very welcome, if you happen to have an idea or wish for something to be incorporated. They are also a unique way to get some easy points, because I am not planning on making a Points Room or anything of the like.

That said.. Welcome to Iuvenes City, I wish you happy rp-ing and your character a very enjoyable life, as well as your OOC self! Have fun on the weekend!
