It stresses me out that there are no notifications like facebook for when you get a reply or something until you refresh the page.
Good news! For those who have google chrome (idk if other browsers have a thing like this) there's an extension called "page monitor". You can add the extension and then choose to monitor any rpr page for changes. for example, for the usual notifications, I suggest monitoring a page that usually doesn't change, such as your profile page so the only change it would notify you of is new notifications popping up. (if you monitor the home page of rpr it'll give you a notif every time the most recent active rps change, which is like every minute.) Also, you could monitor certain parts of a page: for example, monitor your character profile, then go into options and select the area you want to monitor, and select the wall area. Now, you'll be notify everytime there's a new post on your wall. Don't monitor different pages without selecting the specific area you want, otherwise it'll notify you every time you get ANY notification and ALL of the pages you monitor will show up.
I haven't figured out how to monitor an actual rp room yet because the times constantly change, meaning that you get a notif every time it says 3 seconds ago or 4 seconds ago and so on. I think you can fix it by setting the overall check interval to 50-59 seconds, and then select regex instead of selector and type in "seconds" without the quotes. Hopefully you can monitor a page in the rp room where you wouldn't usually get a notification unless it's been addressed to you. This may not work, idk. It works for me sometimes. I'll let you know When I figure it out.
