YOUR AIM

Your aim is to wander the lands, fight and become stronger while trying to find the culprit behind the natural disasters that have been occuring in the world of Dhana Zamina, the blessed lands.

PREPARATIONS

Before you start the game, do take a look at the races, classes and elemental skills to decide which one you will go for. Each class and race have their own specifics, and although some races match better with certain classes there is no restriction on what class you can combine with what race.

It is also recommended to get familiar with the game jargon, too, so here is a list of abbreviations you might come across.

ABBREVIATION EXPLANATION
EXP experience. the more experience the higher the rank. will be collected throughout your gaming journey.
HP health points. when your HP reaches 0 your character dies. HP recharge slowly over time (except for during fights), but you can boost them with potions as well.
STATS your STATS show your character's characteristics (STA, STR, INT and DEX). STATS can be rised with the help of clothing, jewellery and weapons or with the help of a priest's spells.
STA stamina. the higher the stamina, the more HP your character will have.
STR strength. it determines the damage done by physical attacks without weapons or with a sword, if you choose knight to be your class.
INT intelligence. magicians and healers need mental strength for their spells. the higher their INT the higher the damage or effects of their spells
DEX DEX determines a character's speed, accuracy and agility. especially archers need DEX for fights.
FP fighting points. FP is determined by STR and is needed for knights' and archer's skills. recharges slowly over time (but not during fights). can be boosted using potions.
MP magic points. magicians and priests use MP for their spells. once hitting 0 no more spells can be made. recharges slowly over time (but not during fights). can be boosted with weapons.

Elemental skills are skills that come in addition to your character's class. you can acquire up to two elements on your journey.

Also, choose a username wisely as you cannot change it later as well.

GAME START

Once you have chosen username, gender, race and class, the game will bring you to the city of the chosen race. From there you will encounter other players to form an alliance with or you could start exploring on your own. The cities are the only places where you can buy items, and they are the only places where you can be sure that no monster can surprise attack you. It is recommended for lower ranks to go back to the cities before you log off the game as that will ensure that no surprise attack will come when you log on the next time.

FIGHTS

As you explore the lands you will meet different monsters to fight with, regular monsters, as well as aggressive monsters. The aggressive ones will attack once they sense your presence. Usually you can avoid them by paying attention to your surroundings as the monster's name will blink in red above their heads. Regular monsters' names are shown in black.

Boss monsters belong to the same category of aggressive monsters, so beware of them. Different from regular monsters, they always have a little army of underlings surround them. If you do manage to kill a boss monster, they will not only drop large amounts of gold but also valuable items to use for you and your team. They are also one rank up their peers, meaning if monster A is rank N then boss monster A is rank C. [NOTE: when you roleplay, unlike normal and aggressive monsters, boss monsters only appear if a GM sends them. Do not write fighting boss monsters when a GM didn't give a game notice prior that a boss monster appeared.]

Obviously, you can't win easily over those who are higher ranked, but even killing those of the same rank as you will be difficult if you do not have a weapon but use hand combat instead.

RANKS AND SKILLS

As you start the game, you will begin as novice and the more experience you collect (through postings, but also as bonus EXP at events as well), the closer you are to a rank up. With every rank up you will gain another skill, later an elemental skill (EL) in addition to your class's skills. Below is the development table (note: priests have a few more skills than other classes).

Rank EXP SKILLS
N 0+ 2
C 50+ 3
B 100+ 4
A 250+ 5
S 500+ 6
1000+ 6 + 1 EL
2000+ 6 + 2 EL

DEATH & RESURRECTION

In case your character dies, your body will be teleported to the city of your origin where a resurrection stone stands in the middle of the city; that is, if you do not have a priest around to resurrect you right at the spot. In either case your EXP will be deducted by 20 (this only applies to B and higher ranks).

If you are killed by another player, please be aware that they can steal some of your gold. They cannot steal items though.

TEAMS

On your journey, it is recommendable to find people to work together with. There might be monsters that are too difficult to fight on your own, especially when you are fighting boss monsters who have a higher amount of stamina and strength. Usually, it is not possible to attack a monster someone else has attacked already, but if you happen to have formed a team, everyone can fight the same monster.

There is no restriction on what class or race your team members have to be. The only limit is a limit in number which is 4. To form a team, you will have to send them an invitation.

That is all there is to know as game basics. We hope this has been helpful to you and wish you a lot of fun on your journey in Dhana Zamina, the lands of the blessed.
