Items

There is a variety of items that will help you through your journey, so before you go on your next adventure it is recommended to visit the shops that are all located in the cities of each country. After all, your basic starter set might not be enough to face all types of monsters, least of all when you are on your own.

Every new player gets the same starter set consisting of:

  • an N robe of your character's class
  • a pair of N shoes of your character's class
  • a teleportation stone
  • 5 potions, 1 ether, 1 v-potion

Please note that all items can be sold to NPCs for an amount of gold, traded with other players or gifted to another player. You can also try to steal gold from another player if you wish to, but you can only do so when the other is defeated (killed).

ITEM SLOTS

Of course you can't carry around an infinite amount of items. You have 30 item slots, including the items that you are using (each piece of clothing and each weapon takes up one item slot, too. Certain items are grouped together and one item slot can hold up to

  • 99 potions of the same kind
  • 1 weapon
  • 1 piece of jewelry
  • 1000 arrows
  • 10 teleportation stones of the same kind

POTIONS

Potions can be used whenever, even during a fight, but not all classes need all these potions as some recharge points that are unimportant to some classes. Please take a look at the list below:

  • potion - restores some HP
  • hi-potion - restores more HP
  • x-potion - restores 100% HP
  • ether - restores MP
  • v-potion - restores FP
  • remedy - removes all negative effects from a battle (e.g. poison, stun, etc.).

CLOTHING

Clothes will not only raise your defense and protect you to a certain extent, but they will also boost your STATS a bit as well. A complete outfit consists of the following items:

  • a robe
  • a pair of shoes
  • a hat
  • gauntlets
  • a cloak

The clothes' name shows what class and what ranks can use it.

E.g.: B priest robe is a robe that can be worn by priests with a rank of B and higher only.

JEWELRY

Jewelry is another way to boost your STATS. There are four types of jewelry (earring, ring, bracelet, necklace) and their name will indicate which STAT they are boosting.

E.g.: STA ring is a ring that will boost your STA.

NOTE: You can wear up to 6 jewelry pieces. Earrings and bracelets two each. They do not come in pairs though you can buy two earrings at the shop if you have enough gold to do so.

SHIELDS & WEAPONS

Each class uses different weapons. Similar to clothing, their name indicates which ranks can use the weapon. Below is a list of available weapons in the game and the classes that use them.

  • shield - knights and magicians
  • sword - knights
  • wand - magicians
  • staff - priests
  • bow - archers
  • arrows - archers

Note: Archers can only carry up to 1000  arrows per item slot with them. Once used up, they will need to buy some more or hope for arrows to be dropped by killed boss monsters.

OTHER ITEMS

There are a few other helpful items that can be purchased in every store.

  • teleportation stone - teleports you to the next closest city
  • Ipar teleportation stone - teleports you to Ipar's capital Renivohitra
  • Zapad teleportation stone - teleports you to Zapad's capital Pilseta
  • Nótia teleportation stone - teleports you to Nótia's capital Shahar
  • Dwyrain teleportation stone - teleports you Dwyrain's capital Qytet

DROPS

Drops are the rewards from a killed monster. Usually, monsters only drop a bit of gold, potions, ether and v-potions. Killed boss monsters give you the chance to get other, more valuable items, depending on your luck.

After a boss monster is killed, the game system will ask you to roll the dice and the numbers are a code to your win (if you are in a team killing the boss monster together, each team member will get an item). The item's rank (if weapon or clothing) will be the same rank as the boss monster's. See below to get an understanding of the system.
