Gather Around Kids —
Let me tell you a story about a group of students. They were once happy young adults, having the time of their lives. They were on the right track, studying diligently and were on their way to bright futures. That is, until their university decided to introduce them to a "balanced curriculum". They were forced out of their cocoon of clean bathrooms and air-conditioning and shoved head first into muddy grounds and mosquitoes. Bits of their souls got left behind with civilization, as did their endless supply of ramen.
That's right folks; the school took them camping. You might be wondering, who are these poor unfortunate souls that got dragged out of the comfort of their soft, cozy beds? Well, our very own Dean Kim is proud to announce that you will be roped in- I mean exposed to a very beneficial experience that will improve not only your character but your health as you breathe in the fresh air of Busan's beautiful mountains!
In just two short days, the bus headed for the camp site will leave with you on it! This trip is compulsory for all Steelites, as it is an official school event that has already been paid for. Don't think of it as venturing into the wild; view it as a spiritual retreat that provides opportunities to build strong values, forge closer bonds with your classmates, and gain knowledge that will carry with you for the rest of your lives!
Steele's professors have worked diligently to provide the best outdoor experience they could scramble on such short notice. Highlight's of the week-long trip includes;
-Round Robin Recital
-Shell-Shocking Egg Hunts
-The Steelympics
-Bombass Campfire
Attendance will be taken below and all those lacking school spirit will be kicked out of university. Tentmates will be assigned on the day of departure. Attire should be suitable for the upcoming storm you're going to sweat up, so do change your profile pictures to ones of sportswear. We hope you look forward to days ahead because who doesn't love canned food and canoing? Hydrate yourselves regularly and don't forget to pack bug spray!
