Hello, my lovely family's members. I'm not going to use any layout for today's announcement because this one going to be a bit long and I don't want to burden the mobile's users with such a hard layout. You guys can skip this post, by the way. It's just my rant. If you're curious then but don't want to read this so-freaking-long- post then just skip to the third highlighted point.
I don't know how to start this announcement, to be honest. Because I'm a bit upset and an upset admin is a big no-no for the members. I know it would make me look like a bad and mean admin if I rant about this and I know you guys would start to bash me but I have to in order to make you guys understand. So... let me start to talk about three things -- leaving, inactivity and make people feel left out.
Leaving. I'm not saying that it's not a bad thing. If you want to leave, just leave. We're not going to hold you. It's your right and freedom (unless we get attached to you so much then we will try to make you stay). But I'm a bit upset when people leave with fake excuses in order to make us, the admins, feel... I don't know -- not upset? not guilty? not offended? I'm not sure. "This is not the place for me", "Too busy for this", and something like this. I know that right in this moment, you will think, what if they really feel so? What if they're really busy? No, I don't think so. I have my own reasons and experiences that my co-admin, Juhyeon, would support me. Let's talk about this in the next topic.
Inactivity. The moment you guys leave, with or without those excuses, I know you guys leave with the thought of "this place is dead so let's leave" and not because 'this place is not the place for you'. Because in my experiences, my friends including me (of course), always think the same thing when we're leaving a dead rp. There, I admit it. But when I open this place, it changes my way of view. And so it makes me think, isn't this roleplay is dead because we, the members, are not active? In order to make a roleplay active, the admins don't have 100% of responsibility in their hands. The activeness of a roleplay is depends not only on admins but also the other members of its. We need to cooperate in order to make it active. So if you see it's inactive then why didn't you guy make an effort to go out and talk in the rooms, encouraging the others to get out as well?
And I know, while some of you guys are busy with life, exams and else (like the hurricanes and else, we really understand this), the rest of you guys are very active at other roleplays. Don't give us that "busy" excuses when we can always watch you talk all day in other rps. If you're really busy, we don't mind. But if you're lying to us, we couldn't accept it. The admins are also the members of other roleplays so we could easily spot our inactive members being active in other rps. We're not jealous. No. We just think it's unfair. Why the admins can join many other rps (we're busy as well) and still can be alive everywhere once in a while but you guys can't? I understand, you might have other rps as your favorite (the one that you called as home) where you devote all your time for it but at least freaking try to talk in the rooms once in a while when you can. 2-3 posts a day, is it that hard?
Left out people. This is one of the main reasons why people are leaving. This topic is important especially for girls. I often said that we're a family, even in the description if you tend to skip it. I want to create a family within this rp. That is the main goal for this rp. But why. Why I still found some of the members are ignoring other members? I know you tend to talk to people that are more interesting (me too, especially those people with detailed first). But I really hope that you guys can make them feel at lease appreciated and loved. I don't want what happened to me in other rps will happen on the members around here as well. Once again, we're a family, remember? I'm busy sometimes so I can't be in the rooms all of the time but at least I make an effort to say hi when they greet the members in the rooms. I don't know if Cheng Xiao noticed or not but I once saw she posted something (I don't remember what it is) but nobody talks to her. I feel bad so I called her, at least, just to make her know that she's noticed -- that girls are not invisible. I also saw Chanyeol said something like ... "I'm here too, I need a recognition as well". yeah, something like that. But somehow people didn't reply and he stopped there. I didn't saw him anymore after that -- well.. only while I was around. I don't know why but I feel really upset even though it's not my business. I just want them to feel appreciated, you know. That's all.
I know I sound so mean in here. And I know you guys might have so much things to say -- to fire me back. I understand. I won't hold you guys. Just say it to make me understand. I will accept the explanations with open mind as much as I can. But please say it in a nice tone and not in the tone that might spark a fight between us. I'm really sensitive. That's all for my ranting here. I'm so sorry if I make you guys feel offended. Now let's move to part 2.
