#1 EVENT 2: cwtchogwarts
just like the many revivals of cwtch :^O cwTChoGwARTs is officiALLY mAKING its retuRN.
but it won't just be like the first in 2.0, it's gonna be bIGGER and bETTER like never seen beFORE.
without further ado, we are proud to announce to you it's second season,
cwtchogwarts; the champion of the beasts
running from the 14th of April until the 23rd of April
we won't get into many details and specifics here as they're to be of a surprise eue however we will have to mention that in order to participate there will be various guidelines and prerequisites as the event is to be super interactive and will require effort from all participants.
01. as always, please note you are not required to join! if you are too busy and cannot make time for your house, it may be more fair for your team to have an open space for the opportunity of a more active member than an inactive one. please ensure that you only join if you can make time for it!!
02. those who participate within the event will be taken along as a 'student' now attending cwtchogwarts. those who choose to not participate within the event can either take on the role of a muggle or just another witch/wizard of the au event (this includes all alts). everyone is very much welcomed and encouraged to rp with each other during this duration! we will have many rooms and games lined up just for this feature!
03. mass tagging & mass rping will be a big part of this event!! if you do not like mass rping we will have to enourage you to not join! as once you are officially a part of the house, we will not remove you nor will we make you exempt from the activities and further taggings. as a team player it is expected for you to keep up to date and help out your housemates!
04. just like before but with a slightly more extensive test, houses will be determined through the sorting hat! click here to be redirected to the room and for further instructions.
05. presently only 1 character is open per usernim! we may open up the option for 2 in the future but that will be decided at a later date.
06. in order for your character to qualify for the event & ensure that they are active, we will have to ask that they have at least 300 pts!
Last but not least, to lock in your character for the event & to let us know that you have read this simply post below with the following format:
- participating faceclaim name: ie. kim taehyung
- desired role: student (if participating), muggle/wizard/witch (if not participating)
- desired house: hufflepuff/ravenclaw/gryffindor/slytherin
- point requisite? yes (if you have over 300pts), no (if you do not have over 300pts but intend on getting to it asap)
after this, please head straight to the sorting hat room and include a uwu in your application/results if you wish to join
#2 job openings & plotting room
adding onto the semi-au aspect of cwtch :O for those whom are not yet aware, job openings are now available!
found under the misc folder tabs, you can find the room for all job openings and possibly interviews there!
the feature is completely optional but we figiured it'll help get some muse juices running, adding on a bit of a twist to your idol life :o
additionally! you are allowed to ask and apply for a role that is not listed in that room description. want to be a librarian but there's no library? simply ask in the request & suggest room and we'll add both up just for you! all that we ask in return is for you to actively rp out your role and let your creative juices flow out freely. uwu to show you have also read this part :^O when commenting down below, please also let us know what kind of job you'd like to see or have within the city of cwtch!
a plotting room has also been opened for those unaware so do drop your plots in the room to share your ideas and hopefully find a rping partner soon :O
#3 hiatus, semi-hiatus, inactivity & leaving comments
we cannot emphasize enough that here at cwtch we have very specific rules in regards to all of these. for semi-hiatus & hiatus, these specific rules can be found by either clicking here for a redirection or by looking for it under the basic rooms folder. when planning to go on hiatus or semi-hiatus please comment down within that room. do not comment down within the comments section.
there has also been a few changes to our inactivity rule. as of now those inactive will get 2 warnings. the first warning will allow for you 48 hours to remove the sign and the second 24 hours. after that, your character will be deleted without warning. what this means is that if you wish to come back, you will have to apply through a new character (same faceclaim or not). any badges earned through your previous character will also not rollover onto your new one (aside from the welcome and upvoting badge). you will have to work for it all the same once more :")
as for leaving comments, as stated in our rules, they will be deleted so please, when leaving the rp, pm an admin instead of dropping a comment. if you've read thus far, include your favourite colour when commenting down below.
#4 NEW ROOMS: story connect (under our games folder), workshop, and cwtch calendar (both under our misc folder)
cwtch is always changing in hopes of being as interactive as possible so all could enjoy their stay here, hence we've opened new rooms for all to use!
01. the story connect room is basically a literate game opened for all to play at your own pace. do not worry about your english or purple prose, this is meant to be for fun, nobody's going to judge your writing!
02. our workshop room is now opened for those who wish to request for something -- from moodboards to headers to badges, edits even! simply follow the guidelines found in the room. you could also be one of our creators fulfilling people's requests uwu
03. cwtch calendar is now opened for those who wonder what we have lined up within the rp; eg mini activities, mini events, events. this is also so that you could perhaps arrange your schedule to make time for some of the happenings in cwtch, if you would like!
#5 chat room content (chaotic haven)
apologies if we're coming off as naggy but once again we'd have to reiterate that our chat room is to be kept friendly for all. this means that although yes, it is rated, you should not be cursing like a sailor nor should you be suggesting too much ual innuendos. we understand you might have a rough day and your mood might be in the dumps at times but our chat room is not for you to rant to your hearts content. we're emphasizing once again to mind the content you're posting in the chat room. strictly no ooc drama nor ic unconsented drama allowed, reduce the negativity and try not to discuss of any triggering topic. if an admin was to witness or be informed of such happenings, the topic will be cut short and you'd be issued a warning. please do be inclusive and if you need a listening ear, the admins' pms are opened to you and we're more than happy to lend a listening ear.
for those who find the chat room too fast, we have a 2nd chat room (lost & found) for you! if any of you have problems or you find anything uncomfortable, do contact an admin and we'd sort if out for you. if you'd like to settle the issue on your own, pls take it to pms instead of lashing out in our chat room. to ensure you've read everything, include two of your favourite numbers when commenting down below.
