For my curly hair people;

when conditioner, moisturizer and anything else that helps keep curls say “use a generous amount “ how much is a generous amount???? So that your hair don’t go looking dry ???

For me I just continue squeezing until I feel it’s evenly coated with my hands. Then I use a wide tooth comb or paddle brush to make sure it gets everywhere. Then I just put the excess back on because I let my hair sit with conditioner for like 10-15-20 minutes depending. Longer for deep conditions. Trial by error Bc hair texture has different levels of needed generosity.

I spent $20 on three items just the other day
Being black with curly hair is the wooooooooorst because most products don't even work on my hair ;;
And the stuff that does is so damn expensive

close to a handful
and then I wash it out and comb it
and add lots of oil so it can be soft :(
and then when I shower again and don't wash my hair it gets all frizzy and ugly so I never really win

Oh geez when it says generous amount I put about two big palms full and sometimes a little more because that's for the roots the little more is for the ends

After that I rinse some of it out

products: use a dime size
me: uses my whole palm--

i go through products f a s t bc of how thick my hair is and how dry it gets
It kind of depends on the person, honestly?
Some people can use small amounts and it works, and then there's others, like me, who has to use half the container aahdjqk
