@❖ Wong Yukhei "It's the least I could do after you helped me get through the forest. I'd probably be, like, gobbled up by a monster or something by now, so thank you." When he smiles up at Yukhei it's with the warmth of a thousand suns, stretching across his lips in true gratefulness. Then he's going right back to worrying about the food as the fire in front of them keeps him warm despite the cool rain outside. "Um...I'm actually not the best at cooking, but I can roast things over a fire like everyone else. I think." Laughing a little under his breath Mark unties the creatures from his belt was well as maneuvers to get his pack, arrows and bow off his back. He doesn't even realize that afterwards Yukhei has a palm flat against his spine until he's leaning into it. Mark coughs once as if to clear his throat, deciding not to say anything as he opens his pack and starts reading inside. "I actually haven't been hunting much - strange, I know, considering I'm Canadian - but I used to go with my uncle as a kid. Obviously that wasn't with arrows, but I used to do that in school. It was a bit hard to learn how to do it with a moving target though. I'm not t h a t good, just lucky." He tries to will down what now seems to be a permanent blush in Yukhei's presence, to no avail. With his tongue sticking out in concentration he makes a little 'a-ha' noise when he finally finds a small knife, some salt and a jar of spices. "I have seasoning too! That way it tastes better. Do you, uh, want to help, or...?"

@➴ Lee Minhyung yukhei can't put his finger on it but there's something about mark that literally makes yukhei ache to close the distance between and hold the tiny (mark certainly isn't small but his mannerism and that godddamn bashful, panick stricken pair of dke eyes render any threat mark possess to minimum, or it's yukhei's biased judgement and over confidence) little warrior against his chest, whisper sweet nothings and comfort till it's presumably safe. yukhei cringes internally, schooling his features to a small smiling one. no, you can not just be all over the person you just met. another roar and yukhei's back to reality, his smile revealing to be sheepish and apologetic. "that's not necessary but that's kind of you mark." not only he's adorable but also obliviously kind and considerate. yukhei so much wants to protect this human which is ridiculous. coupled overwhelming urge to possess. god. satan. whatever power's out there, they're certainly playing with yukhei's psyche. "do you know how to cook?" yukhei not so subtly slides up to mark, making himself comfortable after he stubbornly pushes another rock with a bearable polished surface next to mark's. he rests a gentle palm on mark's back before the next lightening strikes, followed by the thunders that shake the ground a little. "Soooooo how long have you been in the hunting business? I thought that was hour first and surprised you are actually that good. it takes a lot of practice." yukhei's definitely not eating the meat unclean. it's a gruesome process to clean it up and he hopes mark's already accustomed to it. "do you carry salt with you?"

@❖ Wong Yukhei "Oh, yeah, there it is!" he responds excitedly when his head pops up over the ground, and Mark shimmies the rest of the way up until he's standing straight again. Before he can even move on his own Yukhei is taking him by the arm again and dragging him towards the cave. It looks a little foreboding until Mark notices the fire, which gives it a little more...homey feeling? If that's the right word for it. "Woah, you can use fire? That's so cool!" Also scary, and hot - definitely hot, literally and figuratively. "Also, I mean...I planned on trading these." he said, gesturing to the dead animals he'd caught. "But we could probably cook them for dinner, or something?" At the end of his sentence lightning suddenly strikes, causing the hunter to jump and scurry towards one of the available...rock seats. When did the storm get that close? It hadn't even started raining yet, oh- Nevermind. Looking towards the mouth of the cave Mark can see as the skies open up and pour over the forest. Seems he won't be leaving this cave any time soon.

❧ Yoon Jeonghan 2 hours ago Reply

@❧ Kwon Hoshi He needed to keep his mind busy. Shuffling about to gather the seasonings and ingredients, only pausing to light a fire beneath the kettle, Jeonghan would not allow his thoughts too wander. He simply hated feeling suffocated, especially in his own home. He'd done plenty of that outside of his new life. A tiny scoff parted his lips, and as he stopped to glance at Hoshi with hands on hips, he tossed a long strand of hair out of his face.

"You know very well that I am no angel. I simply care for my friend. Now take your clothes off and move closer to the fire. Put this--" Jeonghan lifted his arms and removed the thick outer layer of his top. He had no need for the hand-woven cotton top, other than keeping it off the dirt floor, so he forced it into Hoshi's hands. "--on. I will look away until you remove your wet clothes. Then you must sit in the carved seat. The last thing I want is for you to give me a cold." With a small chuckle, Jeonghan turned to his kettle and finished adding to the boiling mixture. After dishing up a serving for each of them, he turned and handed the wooden bowl to Hoshi.

"So..." His cheeks flushed and he allowed his hair to cloak his visage. He was undoubtedly flustered. "Where have you been?"

@❧ Yoon Jeonghan At the invitation, Hoshi looks aroung to make sure nobody is following him before hurrying in, closing and locking the door behind him. All he wanted was some shelter, and he could only hope that he hadn't inadvertently lead anything malicious to his friend's little home. At the questions, he hesitates, unsure of what to say. Maybe he could lie, and say that he had defeated some strong monsters out there and needed some downtime now, or should he rally feebly admit that he was still so inexperienced that he was almost completely wiped out by a low level demon? Maybe a half truth could suffice. "I was out on my mission, and I got pretty bruised up. I had to retreat, and the first thing I thought was that I should come back to you.." Perhaps Jeonghan didn't need to know what a coward he was that he needed a bit of company. He wanted to be a strong support for Jeonghan, not the other way around. "I'd sit, but I'm soaking wet, I don't want to ruin your stuff...would you mind too much if I borrowed something?" He asked shyly, shaking his head at the older's kind gestures. "You don't have to do any of that for me, you know. I'll be fine, really." But he know full well that the other would do it regardless, both of them being quite stubborn when it came to taking care of the other. But then again, that's probably why they enjoyed each other's company. As two people who always had to fend for themselves, it was nice to have the reprieve of someone caring for you simply from the goodness of their heart. "You're such an angel, Hannie."

❧ Yoon Jeonghan 4 hours ago Reply

@❧ Kwon Hoshi Shock and bittersweet awe flooded through Jeonghan's veins. He very rarely found himself suffering from emotions that had no explanation, but after seeing his friend-- a friend who Jeonghan never thought he'd see again-- the poor little elf was left speechless. All he had ever wanted upon entering this game, was freedom and friendship. The bond between himself and his tree and the rest of the forest creatures was great-- potent and priceless, of course... but... he hadn't realized exactly what he'd been missing. That oh-so familiar night when Hoshi left, ended up being something... a lot more touching than just a few songs around a campfire. So as he door slowly creaked open, Jeonghan's jaw joined it. The words that Hoshi spoke were practically gibberish-- but when his brain caught up with the present, Jeonghan formulated an answer.

"H-Here? Oh, well... Y-Yes? I mean," a quick scan of the other's stature was enough to tell Jeonghan that... something was wrong. "Come in. Please." He opened the door wide and gestured for the other to join him, brows furrowing in concern. "What is wrong, Hoshi? You look pale... please, sit down." With a gentle grip on Hoshi's arm, Jeonghan led his friend to the thin straw bed and nudged him into sitting down. "Allow me to make you some tea. How does a walnut soup sound?" Being the most filling thing Jeonghan had to offer at the moment, he smiled hopefully. "This is quite odd, you know... I am glad you have made your way back to me... but..." His brows furrowed again. "Why are you here? You look... ill." He busied himself with preparing some stew. "I am sorry that I can offer you no meat. I do have some distilled berry mead, though. Please, let me indulge you."

☵ Tuan Yien ☘3 12 hours ago Reply

@❧ Min Yoongi "Yoh", he greeted the stranger again, adding a little wave of his hand as it seemed like the latter wasn't too harmed by his /powerful/ insult attack. Yien couldn't be sure, whether it was a good sign or not. So instead of taking any kind of thoughtless steps (or pushes in this case), he decided to follow a little lazier path of curiosity and observe which way the cat jumps. And he couldn't find himself regretting any second of remaining on top of the rock as it was more than clear to him that the unexpected bystander didn't quite treat himself seriously. A soft chuckle slipped past Tuan's lips, leaving an amused smile on his lips afterwards.
"How does your survival suddenly become my intention?", he asked then, tilting his head to the right slightly, uninterruptedly eyeing the other man. It would be a huge lie, if Yien said he wasn't interested in earning a pair of human legs which would make it much easier for him to explore the rest of this fantastic world, he would be simply lying. Yet, something didn't let him easily accept the offer of the stranger, no matter how ironical their potential future conversation could turn. "So, what do you actually want from me? Because you see, I've never believed in this mythical something called selflessness."

❧ Min Yoongi 1 day ago Reply

@☵ Mark Tuan Oh, that was actually a really good tone. To others it might sound rude or unfriendly, but Yoongi kind of enjoyed it. It meant he did not have to put on an extra friendly farce and could just be who he was. good old friendliness and just be the person he liked to be. "Yoh, tentacle man," he started and then wondered if that might have been a little too much. Oh well, he might just end up dead. Dreams usually ended like this, right? Surprise death and then waking up with a jolt. Yes, he still believed this was a dream.
"It's not a dumb expression, it's my face." He snorted and then tilted his head, a little amused. It slightly showed on his face. "Would you like me to help you with getting legs?" Though he had to admit that those tentacles were actually pretty cool. He his lips. "Though you have to make sure I do not die on the way." Though he would not mind it too much. What then? He'd just wake up. But this was actually quite interesting. If there was a tentacle man, what else would there be? He surely should have read all the descriptions of the fighters and not just stop after he had found what he had really liked.

@❧ Min Yoongi Sunbathing peacefully on the high, slippery rock, the only sound that reached Mark's ears was the sound of splashing water that hit the rocks, pulling waves towards the sandy beach; fortunately there wasn't any sand castle to be destroyed by the merciless power of nature. His previously moist skin gradually became dryer, thanks to omnipresent wind that successfully created a little mess on top of him head. Earlier that day Tuan discovered that his body wasn't the biggest fan of staying outside of the water, somehow quickly making him weary, pining. That was why he didn't entirely leave the water. Ends of his long, dark navy tentacles were immersed into the life-giving liquid. He was enjoying the blissful moment, until an unexpected call brought him back to the not necessarily pleasing reality. Fictional reality.
"Huh?", he hummed, locking his eyes at the human standing on the still ground. Mark had to squint his eyes a bit to catch a better glimpse of the man. Oh yeah, he saw that. That face, that expression, how stranger's eyebrows created a perfect frown at something, someone he had nothing more but mixed feeling about. And Tuan was no different. Yet, distance kept between him and the latter somehow let him feel a bit safer. "Yeah, hello. You've chosen the correct language to speak. Now you're able to put a little less dumb expression", and that was all about being cautious.

@☵ Mark Tuan "What the actual ," were the words Yoongi let his mouth say out loud even before he could stop him. But when he saw the creature - the first real creature that was not entirely close to human looking, it had just hit him by surprised. Sure, when he had scrolled through the game, he had seen this option as a fighter and if this was really a game, it's graphic was way too good. He stared at the creature, chilling in the sun, it's eight damn tentacles shining gently in the light. That was some odd view he was seeing there. Not that he had seen anything alike ever before - it was like a car crash. And he had seen a car crash. Part of his mind wanted to scream and stop whatever was going on, the other part was odly fascinated. Unlike in a car crash, the fascination won. And then, slowly, he realized that this might be a bit dangerous after all. If this creature attacked him, he was probably ed. He had no idea how this game worked yet and he still had to check out what his powers were.
"Uhm... excuse my fast mouth," he said, mentally cursing himself. He had just wanted to check this area out, carefully, of course. He had not wanted to get into trouble or insult the other person, creature, whatever it was. "I... uhm... hello?" Wow, how eloquently worded, Min Yoongi.
