It has been about five decades since the war which caused the apocalypse ended. Many civilizations had been wiped out, with only very small pockets of survivors. Of these survivors is a powerful warlock who goes by the alias "Rayne". He had created a barrier around the part of the land he had been on and saved it and any of the beings within the barrier from what others outside the barrier had not - the Petrification. Due to the Petrification, many had been killed, or died due to the lack of resources around them. Rayne had begun building a new city though. The City of Hope. And with every survivor who manages to reach the city, more areas are being healed, and the rebuilding of the world has slowly but surely begun.
