In our world, the entertainment industry has been dominated by the more visually appealing races since it started. For years, only elves, humans, and vampires have succeeded in both the public eye and behind the scenes. Things are starting to change now though, with many halflings, tieflings, and dwarves working behind the scenes... Unfortunately the public eye still doesn't appreciate their visuals enough to support them as an idol, but Shanyao Entertainment are working to change this...
Based in Beijing, Shanyao Entertainment is an entertainment and idol management company that was formed twenty years ago, after its founders had achieved fame and wealth from their songwriting and singing abilities. The couple had decided that they wanted to show the world the next generation of music, and so Shanyao was formed.
Instantly Shanyao was a success, debuting a few groups and many soloists in their first ten years. Soon they came to realise that they're soloists and duos were the most successful, and they started to focus on their soloists, debuting much fewer groups.
Now Shanyao Entertainment is still incredibly popular, but most only know the idols and not the team that work so hard to keep the company running and all their events successful and smooth...

This is an AU and as such you are not playing your muse as themselves. You are giving them a whole new personality and job etc. If you wish you can give them an OC name with the same initials. You can also use their stage name as their real name.
