The City of Sacheon
Dead Man Walking RP takes place in a fictional South Korean city by the name of Sacheon. The city is known to be on the smaller side and is surrounded in eeriness, secrecy, and rumors. Rumors about what exactly? Depends on who you ask, but some of the older residents in the city speak of Sacheon's haunted beginnings, saying that there are spirits still running amok at the dead of night. Others believe that these spirits have taken on familiar faces the dead and are just hiding in broad day light. No matter the case, these rumors never usually go anywhere... But they do posses some truth to them.
Regular city folk donโt know anything about this, but in their midst lies a number of individuals who are not who they truly say they are. These people are all people who actually have died and been revived for one reason or another. Some of them have died fairly recently, some of them come from different centuries entirely, but they all blend in with the regular members of society, hiding in plain sight.
The average citizen passes these rumors off as just thatโrumors. However, wise aunties insist something is amiss in their beloved Sacheon. And thatโs not just because of the stories of it being haunted. This is where your muse comes in.
Your muse will be one of these rumored revived beings. They will revive as one of the following:

Your muse will be one of these rumored revived beings. They will revive as one of the following:
- Deadmen: spirits that revive as something very similar to a regular human, but not quite. They were primarily revived to complete their last dying wish.
- Essences: spirits that revive as something closer to a ghost, but not quite. They were primarily revived to help deadmen with their goals.
- Reapers: twelve chosenย spirits that revived as something very similar to regular humans with ghost-like powers, but not quite. They were primarily revived to exterminate both deadmen and essences.
More information on the above roles will be presented in the coming days. Depending on what your muse will be specifically, that will influence how they interact with other muses and the world, but all revived beings will reside in Sacheon City centuries after the Great Necromancer's tyranny.
