so what are we feeling lately ?

i have,,,,, far too many ideas swimming around in my head lately and i'm struggling to settle on one.
so ! questions for anyone willing to answer

what are we feeling lately ? vibes-wise ? genre-wise ?
ex. high fantasy, supernatural, science fiction, slice of life, au, semiau, dark/heavy, chill, etc.

and if you're feeling a specific genre do you have a preference for any of these aus ?

high fantasy
- brilliance ; very loosely atla (cartoon) inspired au (just the bending tbh) where everyone is born with a gem somewhere on their body and the type of gem determines what powers they can harness. ex. emerald = earth, ruby = fire, etc. + there are less conventional gem types like moonstone & sunstone, and the rarest of all, soulgems. i mentioned this in a previous blog post but i want to initially make this rp as open as possible and let the world build itself as people join, creating a sort of "extended lore" invented by members. i'm not sure how to explain it, but an example would be someone joining as a princess of a kingdom they created, and this kingdom would be added to the lore and other muns could join as members of that kingdom, if it makes sense?
- untitled (wizard101-inspired au) ; wizarding school but it's based on wizard101. seven schools of magic: storm, ice, fire, life, myth, death, balance. you have a primary school and a secondary school (so your wizard can practice both ice and myth magic or something like that). a lot of made-up lore included though like different worlds and stuff instead of the ones that are actually in the game. no knowledge of wizard101 needed it'll all be explained in the rp !

supernatural
- untitled (mafia au) ; taking place in the not-so-distant-future, a world in which humans and supernatural creatures live side by side. the city of ostires is overrun with mafia activity, divided by three "families" who control nearly everything. these families are the nova (sirens), the umbra (werewolves) and the acer (vampires). you don't have to be a siren/werewolf/vampire to join one of the groups, those are just the main/highest power within the family.
- untitled (casino au) ; honestly quite similar to the above but a different setting lmao again, a world in which humans and supernatural creatures live side by side. dark rose casino is owned and operated by five (5) powerful creatures, each assigned a title based on a deck of cards (queen, king, jack, ace, joker). you can play as an employee or a patron of the casino, and tbh this is just bc i miss a good casino au on here LMAO

science fiction
- the infinity hotel ; very futuristic au with aliens and stuff but that's not the main focus - the main focus is the infinity hotel, believed to be a myth, it is an infinite dimension that is said to only become available to someone in their time of greatest need. a door will randomly appear to them - in place of an actual door, in the middle of a field, embedded in a ceiling, etc. anywhere. it's an actual hotel with an infinite number of rooms and an infinte number of guests. time does not pass inside the infinity hotel, meaning people from all different times are staying there. many choose to stay since the myth also says that once you leave the infinty hotel you'll never be able to return.
- underkeep ; a prison au that takes place in a gigantic cube underwater lmao basically, a huge facility that houses exactly 100 inmates in addition to staff (human and android/ai). this facility, the underkeep, is submerged deep underwater making it virtually impossible to escape (not that people haven't tried before though). it's supposed to house the worst of the worst but it's clear that there's been some manipulation from powerful people and/or governments to get certain people in there. you can play as an inmate, a staff member, or an android/ai.

slice of life(?) idk what to call this genre
- untitled (fashion au) ; i remember there used to be a couple fashion/designer aus and i was craving one. i don't have much of an idea yet other than there being three brands who employ designers and models, and there would be a focus on drama and the dark underbelly of the fashion world?? maybe ????
- untitled (university au) ; BUT specifically focusing on cliques like those old rpr high school aus, just put it in uni instead. unrealistic, i know, but it's supposed to be kind of silly lmao but like, i've been craving the silly jock, nerd, outcast, normal, student council, etc. roles so i wanted to open a place for those
