Okay so, yesterday, I was walking to gym class, when we got to the gymnasium, I was talking to my friend who is from thailand, her name is Mook (well that's what we call her) and her English is a bit broken and she's the cutest ing thing omg...
Anyways..
We were talking and she handed me her plastic bag which was filled with nuts and raisins and I said sure and grabbed two nuts and ate them. After a few seconds, I started to noticed that my mouth was starting to itch. When I walked up the stairs to the stage were some people were sitting at, I said "did i just eat cashews?" And another friend of mine, Antonai said "what?" and I said "I ate cashews and I'm kind allergic but I'll be okay." And at first it was just my regular reaction. Throat and tongue itch and my throat in the back was feeling weird.
So I went up to Mook and was like "Mook Mook, you gave me cashews and im allergic but it's okay, i'll just go to the office." And she kept saying are you okay and hugging me and said that she was sorry and i said that it was fine. So once I asked the teacher he was like "oh go go go" and i just laughed, jogged up the stairs, and went to the office. I told the front office girl and she's like my mom until my real mom comes back from Afghanistan XDDDD
So she ask if I was okay and i said yes, she called my grandmother and she told me to drink water so I did, after a few minutes I went back to gym class and the teacher asked if i was okay and he was like "you know, next time, ima feed you whole bag of chashews" and i laughed and went outside to play batmitton with the others and Mook ran and hugged me.
I only had 5 minutes of class and then I went to Korean language class which was the last class. That day she prepared Ddukbokki and Mandu and Song Pyun for us because yesterday was Chuseok (korean thanksgiving) in America. That was my first time trying those things and they were sooooooo ing good omg. I love the Song Pyun, it was really sweet n chewy. The Ddukbokki was really good too, only me and this other guy named Shannon didn't react to the hotness because it wasn't that spicy to us. After that, I had small stomach pains but I just waved it off and hand 1 Mandu (dumpling). That was just Jesus in my mouth. Then there was one more and Kim Sunsaengnim (my teacher) said "who had only one Mandu" and me and my OTHER friend Amanda raised our hand and out teacher said "okay kai bai bo" and we did that and she won. She had rock and I had scissors. Amanda came up to me with the last mandu and said "okay you're lucky i love you (because she has a huge crush on me)." and she let me bite half of it and i was happy. then like 2 minutes later, the pains got worse and i asked to go to the office again so i did.
After 5 minutes of groaning in pain, I noticed that my face started to get hot and the left side of my face started to swell up, then I got hives on my arms, then I start wheezing and couching. I laid down on the medical bed they had in there and she asked if she should call the ambulance and I said "yes please, I never had reactions like this." So she did, they came, gave me an epi pen. When they pulled out the needle and put it to my arm, they yelled out "DON'T LOOK!!!" and i was confused and said "I'm...not scared of needles.." and they just said oh okay and stuck me and i had this really blank expression and the guys were shocked lol
the rest of the few minutes was funny because the guys made me laugh because one said "Okay guys, she'll live" In this really serious tone and face it was funny
Then, I was walked to the ambulance truck, the office lady rode with me but went in the front, I was in the back and they strapped me in. One of the peramedics put a oxygen mask on for my breathing. They put those...cold things on my chest and on my stomach. Then It was a 15 Minute ride to PG (Prince George's)(I live in Maryland along with @xShockWave) Hospital and they rolled me in the emergancy room.
My aunt came in crying and I laughed and said that Im fine in a dark vador type voice because i still had that damn mask on. They took it off, rolled me into a room and a paramedic guy said "Are you gonna make it" with a smile and I laughed again and slightly wobbled at first because I was getting a bit weak and I laid down on the soft hospital bed. I changed into the hospital clothes, my sister and grandmother came in then after awhile my the nurse came in, asked me what happened, gave me an IV, took my blood, gave me steriods and acid so I felt really tired and that Epi pen made me drowsy from the beginning. My aunt and grandmother left to get some coffee and never came back so it was just my sister and my, i took naps here and there and laughed and talked with my sister. Then the doctor came in and said that I was really close to anabolic shock which could seriously kill me.
After another hour because of the IV, i took a nap and then I was released. They told us to go to CVS so I can get the steriods and other pill i have to take for this.
NEXT DAY
Today, I went back to my school earlier to get my bookbag which had my phone and IPOD.
I was ahead of my cousin (darius) and sister in the school so since the Korean class was on the same level as the office, I knocked on the Korean class room door and poked my head up so they can see my face. my friends ran towards the door and screamed and opened the door and tackled me. omg. when i went inside i saw my teacher and she gave me a hug. She then fixed me the food that they saved from me from earlier that day since korean class was the last class of that day and it was also dress down day so i was sad XDDD
She gave me 3 pieces of Mandu, Japjae (clear noodles), and Bulgogi (sweet meat pretty much) and this big thing of rice holy ... My kpop friend Kamilah told me to go to Mook so she can see that I am okay so I did, she was alone in the "study hall" and I knocked on the door and she saw me. Mook rushed to the door and opened it and hugged me and looked like she was about to cry and I calmed her downa nd went back to the korean room. My friend Taara and her brother was there and her brother is fan of kpop and i just hugged him. We all were on the traditional Korean living room part of the classroom so I had my shoes off and after 5 minutes I said "Annyeongheegeseyo" which means bye but only say that when you're leaving, and you say "Annyeongheegahseyo" when that person (or people) you're saying to is leaving.
Anyways, I said that because I had to leave and I gave everyone and hug, went back to the study hall to give Mook a hug and say goodbye and left.
When I got home I immediately ate that food.
It was like an in my mouth I almost cried lmao
sooooooooooooo yeah that's why I didn't message anyone today or earlier today
