soooo... for the past year i've been thinking/planning of going to south korea as an exchange student, but lately (aka right now) i thought if i should go to the usa instead. ;u; idk the language, lifestyle and people kind of interest me a bit more, but it's a thousand euros more expensive and i'm not quite sure what my mom thinks about it.. comment your opinions pls ;;;;; orz

In addition to school, I think an exchange student program to the U.S. would provide you with a lot of opportunities ( especially in terms of college, hence why many people travel to the United States for under-graduate/post-graduate education ) but it also depends on where you live currently! As a resident of the United States, your exchange program courses can either be relatively easy or difficult ( trust me, America doesn't make you stay at school for as long as South Korea does, but you can have 6+ hours of schoolwork to do at home. OTL ) so you should factor in the difficulty level you wish to pursue. I personally think with internships, job opportunities, volunteering opportunities, clubs, sports and various intellectual organizations, America has a more well-rounded, involving experience, but it's totally up to you and your interests!

( awkwardly commenting despite not knowing you well, sorry sweetie. ; n ; )
