My ever elusive search for a male jpop singer I like

Why do I post a lot of videos? Because mp3 hosting is unreliable (trust me, I have probably hudreds uploaded all over the web on sites that went defunct.) Plus I use videos to give to people who ask me for songs. This becomes increasingly difficult because Japanese record labels will have a video pulled in a hot minute.

 

I had someone look at the jpop songs I have and ask "You don't like male singers very much do you?" When in actuality, I love them, but I can't stand nasal male singers. Females, I can stand it because I guess I don't notice it as much. Then I noticed a lot of the Jpop females vocals song a little different from the standard (Maki Goto is the exception) Ai, Crystal Kay, Utada Hikaru, Namie Amuro(but she's a queen and should be everyone's favorite) Miho Fukuhara.

I'm forever hoping that Miho Fukuhara will get her own solo deal in the US because listening the Sweetbox album she had did the vocals for wasn't what I expected. I guess because I'm very used to Jade era Sweetbox

Back to the rant in line. The only male jpop singer I ever liked...love was Ken Hirai

(props to him for finally getting Namie Amuro lazy out of a chair in a video.)

Plus his ballads are wonderful... or dreadfully boring

(I can probably sing this entire song from memory and never looked at the lyrics. That's how much I've listened to it.)

Japan is really serious about copyright. It's pretty sad the amount of old videos they've taken down on Youtube.

When I'm too lazy too download your song, it doesn't hold much for keeping my interest...Although reading the comments are complete amusement for me. The overwhelming comment is about his voice rather than him being shirtless xDD

 

Daichi Miura, I like his voice, but his songs bores me.

Honestly, any Soulja colab is wonderful.

If you haven't noticed, I like 'urban' flavored stuff. I'm a little sad Aoyama Thelma fell off because with the right producer and a good amount of luck she can make it.I read a while back she was 3/4 Trini and wonder if she have a bigger mix than she's claiming. I highly doubt it with Jero making a name for himself sing Enka and he's 3/4 black. And, of course, Crystal Kay. I just remember when Tasha/Yoon Mirae said she was forced to lie and say she was only 1/4 black instead of half.

Let's I've tried Shota Shimizu, but I only like him when there's someone else singing with him like Miliyah Kato.

I wish I could find Aklo The Arrival because I liked him much more there. The only time in my like I'll give reccomendations on a Japanese rapper, I'll say download Aklo albums immediately. Completely worth it, especially The arrival.

His voice actually reminds me of Daichi Miura, so I see how long this infatuation last before I'm moving on trying to find another

Can I say how much I hate Japanese short PVs
