like, where the do you go and what the do you do if you get uninspired, but you're a self-motivated and usually-inspired-by-anything kind of human? idk what to do with myself.
It can come from anywhere. That drink that you just had? What if it was magical? What would it do to your character or affect the relationships between your character and various others? Is that drink harmful or beneficial and is it available to everyone? Take real life instances and pour them into your writing, and diversify your characters by mixing and matching their backgrounds with backgrounds of the people around you!
Well what helps me to get inspired is if I take a break from whatever it is I'm doing for about two months or sometimes three at the most. As much as I enjoy roleplaying for an example, there are days where I feel like everything's the same and it completely un-inspires me. But after my month or so of a break I usually get somewhat back into it again ^^
And another thing that helps is listening to music as cliché as it probably sounds. Just one lyric is enough to get my gears going for idea possibilities.
