Oh no, they almost sent me home yesterday without even checking my back! Like almost sent me home with out a cast on my foot/leg on CRUTCHES, guess what the docs said about me using crutches with that back fracture?! It would have been SUPER bad. Like, WHOA... as it is I'm due for an MRI now to take a better detailed look at my spine.
We just found out the "chunk of ankle" is actually that the tibia in that area has broken CLEAN OFF at the end!!! o.O HOW does someone miss that? So right now we're looking at surgery. *sigh* Plus my right ankle seems sprained.
As for my back, there is a compound compression fracture on T12 with what looks like the disk have slipped or busted out. :( not pleasant at all. And that will likely need surgery as well. And we don't know if there is a crack in my bone or if it's just really bad internal bruising like my ribs.
So far I can't even get out of bed thanks to the broken tibia in the left foot and sprain in my right ankle! Because of my back, sitting up all the way is very hard, if it weren't for this table I'd be all kinds of screwed. Luckily the new hospital tables have a lip to make use of laptops easier. *sigh* Also, it seems they've for some reason stopped my IV meds. X( I'm so pissed... and I hurt like crazy.
