ABOUT HER
Rini means little bunny. Rin means dignified, severe, cold. Rini goes by both, but Rini definitely suits her more. She has been part of the Scouting Legion for about five years, and considering she is still alive, she's a pretty good soldier out in the field. Rini specializes in quick, random attacks on her targets. She often assists when attacking a titan, by drawing attention while being able to stay out of reach. Due to her fighting style, Rini has a total of two solo kills and a fair number of assists.
In a group, Rini is either quiet and reserved, earning the nickname Rin. Or laughing heartily at little things with a bright smile on her face. While her laughter and carefree attitude could make people uncomfortable, she can often tell when people are disturbed by her attitude and would promptly apologize meekly. Though she is often bright and easygoing, Rini is always a bit down after a mission with at least one loss, respecting the ones who had left with a stoic expression. Her serious side usually lasts about four hours before she regains her cheerfulness. (If you want to know more about her personality, you'll probably just have to find out, or ask me)
BACKGROUND
She grew up in Shiganshina, and contrasting the traumatized youth who survived the attack, Rini is somehow bright and optimistic about the current situation. She lost her parents in the attack, left with no family, but was luckily of age to join the trainees. She was ranked eleventh of her year and was unable to join the military police, but Rini was never interested in joining brats in the center of the walls. Promptly, Rini joined the Scouting Legion and became a soldier. She was known for her strange outlook on life and unusually bright smile.
In her trainee days, Rini had followed a certain medic like a puppy for about a month, begging the medic to teach her how to treat the injured. After two days of persistent pleading and pouts, the medic agreed and taught her how to treat wounds of all sizes, breaks, strains, and other common injuries that occur in the Scouting Legion. With her new knowledge, Rini would frequently disappear after missions to help the medics tend the wounded once she joined the Scouting Legion.
APPEARANCE
She has dark brown hair and large dark brown eyes. She is often seen trotting around with a peaceful smile on her face paired with an Scouting Legion jacket than hangs like an oversized sweater on her small, wiry frame. Her typical uniform contains a white tank top, shorts, and military given boots. Rini doesn't exactly have any clothes of her own, as her parents died in the Shiganshina attack and she was left with nothing. But she escaped with a black knitted hat (beanie) which she carries around for good luck.
When she goes beyond the walls, she wears her usually uniform, except with long pants and a slightly more fitting jacket. Her hair is either tied up or loose, depending on whether she feels rebellious or not.
While Rini is often seen with a smile on her face, when the smile disappears, her face is cold and expressionless, earning her nickname, Rin, from her trainee days and continued into her career in the Scouting Legion.
