JEFF LOGAN - 28 - ENTREPENEUR - STRAIGHT - SINGLE
Jeff still remembers that cold, winter night. He was sitting in the hospital with his little sister, waiting anxiously for his father to come out of the delivery room. His sister didn’t know much of what was going on, considering she was a toddler. But he was well aware, even as a 7 year old. The both of them watched from within as the snow fell slowly outside. He had thing feeling deep down that something was wrong and when his dad came out in tears, he knew he had been right.
After his mom passed away, things got tough for Jeff. He became a troublemaker at school and started talking back to adults. He was angry that his mom was gone. He was angry they had decided to have another child. He even blamed his youngest sister and for the first few years of her life and he resented her. When his dad married again, he felt completely detached from him. Sure, he was a bit older, but he still resented him from choosing to move on with his life. Moving to Korea was an adjustment for all of them, but it was definitely the best thing. It was a fresh start and as the years passed and he got older, he began to understand that his mother’s death was no one’s fault. It was still unfair though and he blamed whatever ‘God’ there was for taking his angel from him.
As soon as he turned 18, he left home and started his life. He spent a lot of time at the clubs in Seoul, making friends and exploring his options. He knew that college wasn’t for him, but he knew he wanted to make a name for himself. When he met John, he found exactly the mentorship he needed to excel. John was a wealthy club owner in Seoul and he took a liking to the young man. He liked Jeff so much that he hired him to work at one of his clubs as a bartender, even though he was underage. As time passed, Jeff knew more and more that one day he wanted to be like John. Women would flock to him, people respected him and no one ever dared to cross him, He was a smart business man in many, many ways. One of these ways included the trade of . He was a man who had no control and because of that, when Jeff was 23 years old, his mentor got locked away in prison. Fortunately for him, he had already signed away his club to the young Jeff. The police investigated but found nothing, so Jeff was untouched.
At the age of 26 years old now, Jeff runs 4 of the most profitable clubs in Seoul. He’s living the dream of a successful entrepreneur and unlike his mentor, he made sure that working with drugs would be something he would never be a part of. It was the one thing his mentor always looked out for as he mentored him. He always made sure to teach him that once you got involved in that world, there was no backing out and he didn’t want his apprentice to ever become trapped. Jeff still visits his mentor and makes sure to take care of him financially. He owes a lot to him and he’s aware. He also has a better relationship with his younger sisters than he did before and he makes sure he is there for them whenever they need him. Whether if its for support or money, he takes care of them,
Going through all of these experiences have shaped the man he is today and they continue too. After all, many more adventures await him.
