He's been going back and forth from earth to up above the world so high that he can pretty much make a kids song out of it. Jaebum lived as a human on earth before way long ago. To count the years, you'd probably fall asleep from hearing him count from his fingers because he would lose count. As a human, the male never lived that long. He died young from a casual bullet to the head. Actually scratch that.
The tension that was built in order for that bullet to the head to happen was from being bounded to a chair, rope holding him down, duct tape on his mouth, blades going down his back. Jaebum was tortured and had a quick death. The reason? When you deal with drugs and don't pay back the right amount, expect a chase down and the run for your life.
It's his cliche backstory that hides his true story. Rough childhood, parents weren't there to raise him right.
Adoption was the way to go. They were abusive to him. Mentally and physically. Name it. The only reason why he became an angel was because only God knows why. Did he want to become one? Not really. He expected himself to go to hell from whatever he's done in his life. Guess his soul made a small detour and decided to allow him to become an angel.
Now, the male was one that was actually a kind person. He became desensitized to everything that he's seen or went through. Charge after charge, Jaebum just lets them go when there really is the need to do so. If not, he will take an extra take a few steps forward and hold himself up to make sure nothing goes wrong.
Year after year, this is what he does. He was able to level up into an archangel. He likes the title but he doesn't think he really fits it himself. On earth, he's a street performer, making whatever amount he can. .
