Name: Thaddeus "Teddy" Goldcrest

Occupation: Medical Doctor

Primary Ability: ATOMIC MANIPULATION - the ability to manipulate matter at the atomic level. In his initial research to deconstruct the molecular composition of cancer cells, Dr. Goldcrest attempted to reverse the function of selected cancer cells to fight against other cancer cells. Unfortunately, the department refused to provide human subjects for experimentation, resulting him to do the experiment on himself.

Secondary ability: POWER NEGATION - the ability to nullify all abilities, and can be used either manually or automatically. Upon having skin contact with Dr. Goldcrest, all superpowers are automatically negated. On the other hand, Dr. Goldcrest can manually extend the area of his nullifying territory as far as 10 meters (current max). The duration of being nullified relies on the presence of Dr. Goldcrest; hence, at his absence, everyone can immediately regain their powers.

HISTORY:

Blessed with high intellect, Thaddeus "Teddy" Goldcrest was ahead of his peers which drove him to live up to the fastlane but when he turned 21, Teddy discovered that he can nullify abilities. It was deemed useless but it was enough to win the heart of a certain woman (his wife) who holds the ability to manipulate emotions. 

At the age of 23, Teddy Goldcrest had a daughter. It was his first year residency at Andarta Hospital. Unfortunately, two years later, she was diagnosed with a rare disease that gave her a supernatural ability. Another misfortune followed when a mysterious self-proclaimed government-based group took his daughter and his wife away from him. He learned that she suffers from a dreadful ability that the illnesses of those within 5-feet and eventually claiming that disease as her own. Unfortunately, Teddy couldn't eradicate her curse/power after she inherited a portion of his nullifying ability. His daughter cannot nullify other abilities; however, her ability cannot be negated. 

For years, Teddy has been searching for a solution for his daughter's curse, as well as to hunt down those who took them. In the meantime, he decided to work for the medical department to gain more information about the Andarta special cases, and unlock secrets that may lead him to his missing daughter and wife.
