background information

junhong was born and raised in mokpo, south korea. he lived with his father, step mother and older brother in a five room apartment, and they had no issues. junhong went to the same elementary school as his brother, jaeho and he was the nerdy, chubby kid who surprisingly did well for his classes. everything was perfect, until he entered third grade. junhong was the victim of bullying because he had a little bit of extra weight around his face and tummy. he would normally ignore them, but oh boy he snapped. junhong felt his body heat up tremendously and the next thing he knew, he gave one particular boy a second degree burn. they sure left him alone for a good couple weeks, but they were back at it again, calling junhong a freak. he was basically an outcast, and everyone avoided him. getting kicked around in school, his items being vandalised, junhong couldn’t take it anymore.

his parents had transferred him to a couple of different schools, but history just repeats itself. as if burning his textbooks wasn’t bad enough, he turned invisible. "has anyone seen junhong?" said the teacher. "but i'm right here!" said a confused junhong, and the next thing he knew, everyone was screaming.

although he was treated badly in school, junhong was thankful that he had his loving family. they have never once judged him, for his older brother jaeho, was like him as well. jaeho possesed the power to manipulate ice, which is the complete opposite of what junhong could do. they did their best to search for people that are similar to them, and a miracle happened when they found rogue academy. he was sent alone, and he had lost contact with his family. everything was so new to junhong. eventually years went by and he gained the nickname of phoenix.

though all seemed amazing, it wasn’t until one day where junhong was scarred for life. he was dating another mutant that was in the academy when he was fifteen, and they were sharing a kiss. naturally, he wanted more but he hadnt realise that he was taking more and more of his soul as the kiss deepened. his fingers touched his skin and there, he stopped moving. he had panicked, but thankfully he was still alive, but barely. the rest is history.

PRESENT TIME

everyone knows junhong, the phoenix, zelo. though he may be a sarcastic piece of , he’s naturally lovable and compassionate when he wants to be. 20 years of age, but he has a young heart. he works as a tattoo artist at his own studio called pyro.inks and he’s loving his job. he isn't the nicest person that you'll bump into and he would ocassionally blow smoke at your face just to piss you off. don't worry, you'll never forget junhong, even if you tried.
