             then i'm sorry but i don't have time to try and comprehend what you're trying to say.
           - DO be patient with me!
           - DON'T poke me two hours after posting your reply; i take time to write and i have a life
           - DON'T repeat my entire response and then add two or three sentences of your actual reply
             at the end; i will literally not respond and let you know why.
           - DON'T get whiny if my character does something you don't like; grow up, it's fantasy

character A - a mermaid(man) who lives in a coral reef; (s)he has never been in contact with
humans before but is familiar with them due to their reef being a popular site for marine biologists.
character B - a young marine biologist who is very quickly gaining a name in the world of marine
science. B has come to investigate strange occurences in a nearby coral reef but what they find is
much more than what they had bargained for.

high school / college / university AU

character A - B's previous SO. After B left, A was heartbroken and has never quite forgiven B;
they threw themselves into their studies and became one of the top students of the country.
A currently studies music at the best music school in the world.
character B - B is a world famous musician/singer who only recently came into the lime light. They
were previously dating A but after making a tough decision, decided to follow their dreams; after
reaching that dream, B decided to go back to university to finish their studies. It just so happens that
they decide to join A's school. 
Plot Description: During high school, A and B were the 'it' couple, they were voted most likely to get
married and both knew that their love for each other was going to be for forever; they had their whole
lives planned out, get into a SKY university, get high paying jobs, by a penthouse apartment(what? they
could dream big!) and have kids by age 30. B's dream was always to be a globally recognised singer, they
were talented in all things musical from singing to playing musical instruments(but they kinda at
dancing) whereas A was all about science(but, funnily enough, was a fantastic dancer) and logic. Despite
their differences in interests, they still loved each other dearly. That is, until B was scouted and recieved
an offer they couldn't refuse. Torn between A and their future, B was pressured by their family into taking
the job offer; stating it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. B couldn't face A and so they left without saying
anything. A was devestated but after a horrible few years, picked themselves up and continued on with their
plans. Five years on, B got their wish and is out partying with artists like Justin Bieber and Skrillex every weekend
whereas A is barely scraping by on loans and debt for their college tuition. B decides that after three years
of touring and partying, it was time to take a break and go to college. It just so happened that they picked A's
college. Neither had any idea the other was there until B decided to sign up for the extra-curricular dance
class; and then the past came all rushing back. A doesn't want anything to do with B, and actively goes out
of their way to ignore and avoid B but B wants to make it up to A, if only they would let them.
