Taemin was a young, hopeful child. He was able to remain innocent during the war. He was told his father was activly fighting in the war and that was why his mother was sad and by herself. He tried his damn hardest to make her happy but it never seemed enough. So little Taemin decided he'd train and work hard so that he could become a soldier, go fight in the war, and bring his father home. That never happened.  The war ended and his father never returned. Instead a flag was given to them in place of their third family member.

The war was technically over, but the violence never stopped. As he grew up, he studied the art of war and learned everything there was to know about weapons of all kinds. Pistols, rifles, daggers, swords. Everything had a weakness and a strength. When he was fifteen, a man broke into his house and killed his mother and that night, Taemin almost lost his life. That night, he had his first encounter with a player.

Taemin started putting his kowledge to good use. He participated in the game activly. Now he is the leader of Penumbra. A group that is dedicated to staying silent. He doesn't go out of his way to hunt and kill, he let's them come to him.

Sometimes he can be a cheerful person. Most of the time, he is on a fine line of being a sociopath. Is he still innocent like before? No... But he remembers well what he used to be like. He is a great actor, and if he is in a pintch, he can act really well. He is still an optimist, but it is diluted with realism.
