Lee Changseon, better known as Lee Joon, had some pretty average beginnings. Never in his lifetime did he envision his co-headmaster position here at Hogwarts. Actually, he did, it just stumped him for years. What the hell could lead up into this moment... The journey usually had him stunted rather than conclusion. Entering his first year of Hogwarts nearly two decades ago, Joon didn't imagine he was particularly special. His past is riddled with average grades and the first love people dream of. Honestly, he had been pleased with his life at that point. Then came some crappy elective called Divination. There opened a gift and while everyone else laughed or sighed at the coursework, Joon shook. Classes were cancelled that day for him. He had the gift of witnessing the future. With the uncovering of this gem came a new Joon. As the years progressed, he crumbled, brick by brick; his first vision was of his lover's last breath.

She passed from a brain tumor. "Mapul!" During her stay at the hospital she told Joon to remain strong and endure much like a Maple leaf. Despite her being the one in pain, it was visible from the wisps in his eyes that he was the one fragmenting. She gave him a dried maple leaf on her final day and he finally understood what "Mapul" meant, not having the heart to correct her pronunciation. The parting gift can still be found in his office, framed in a drawer. It's been four years since her death and while he isn't the man he used to be, he doesn't find that his life revolves around her memory. Of course, he's wrong. People don't forget those in their hearts as easily as they can bury them. Joon lives alone with a fish tank. Truthfully, he'd like caring for a kitten, however getting attached is not in his plans. Being glued up against a memory of his past lover has already left him with a rotten unsettled feeling, so adopting an animal to dump his emotions into wouldn't be smart. Instead, he went with fish, heavily considering the lifetime of appxomately a month or two and how he can't hold them. Attachment is less likely this way.

Currently, he is the co-headmaster of Hogwarts and, hell, he's apathetic about his position. It's not that he isn't qualified for the position and he's strict enough, it's that he lacks a passion for...everything. At this prime age of twenty eight, the man spent his years riddling up into being a divination professor. Appearance wise, Joon keeps himself neat and tidy. Button-ups and slacks, long sleeved sweaters and v-necks of simple colors. "Don't make me repeat myself." Words flow from his lips with speed, so don't miss them. Pure silence riddles his anxiety, so he's always have white noise playing in the background else you'll notice his fingers drumming against surfaces or perhaps hands stuffed in his pockets so they can fiddle between the coins and old gum wrappers contained there. It's not as often, but he may fester with his necklace, a simple silver promise ring he gave his lover way back when. It doesn't particularly symbolize anything anymore, especially because he knew she wouldn't be there to see through their promises to the end. Still, the memories are strong and there are times when you won't see the ring on his neck as if to quit cold turkey; of course, it always ends up right back where it started. Drinking isn't his way to go when drowning out thoughts, and smoking may be casual, but addictive for him.

Overall, he's unskilled in potion work and befriends animals easily because he doesn't chase after their tails. Overly sweet foods turn him off as well as gushy people. Joon likes to think of himself as self-contained at this point in his life. Previous teachers may remember him as a shaking teen whenever he had been in the divination classroom as he'd witness the darkest of Hogwarts' future. His expression is typically strict yet when neutral, he seems a bit depressed. "The future is dim, let me tell you that. Don't act on emotion and use the head on your shoulders first." While he may show the students a thin smile at times when welcoming them into the school, Joon is for the most part put together and what this school needs for some balance with the other co-headmaster, Ms. Fenty. "Actions over words, students. Remember that much if I can teach you nothing else." He'll sign off each class with a grin even if he's still unsure of his longterm goal. Living in the moment, searching for a passion. Memories are sweet, but they are only there for a wistful smile on the days we need them most. Never forget, but always step forward.
