ever since he was young jaijin has been exposed to gang life. his father was a grunt and his mother nowhere to be found, leading jaijin to be completely raised within the lifestyle. he's no stranger to taking someone's life.
however, jaijin grew bored - or regretted? - and decided to leave. not a good decision when the leader of said gang prizes you like a dog in a show contest. jaijin ran away and for the next two years was constantly followed by ex-comrades and the like as they tried to drag him back in.
one day they found him and attacked, leaving jaijin for dead. jaijin surived only because someone found him lying there and took him to the hospital - but he doesn't know who it is. after he healed they just left him here without showing their face.
