Some say she is the daughter of Helios and Perse, others say she is the daughter of Hecate and Aeetes. Regardless of her true parentage, she is the goddess of magic/sorcery and specializes in tranation, illusion and necromancy. She lived on the island of Aiaia with her nymph companions and bore four children to Odysseus whom she came to meet after turning his men into pigs. She is often referred to as the creator and epitome of magic. She uses her vast knowledge of potions and spells and herbs to create potent drinks, which has landed her many jobs as a bartender and also made her a great hostess for parties, which she throws often. She is quick to flirt with anyone that walks, but is also possessive and quick to be angered and get jealous.
