i have worked under the influence of aphrodite, always on the watch for her. for a long time, i used my skills for bad, always taunting others and playing with their feelings. i watched countless men fall prey to aphrodite's charm, and i wanted that. i wanted love, i wanted power. and thus i began to work my charms. one man in particular- hermes... he caught my attention. but his eyes were on aphrodite. they were only on her, time and time again. it broke my heart, slowly, because i knew what i felt. i knew i wanted him, i knew he was the only one for me. for a while, aphrodite wouldn't give him up. she refused to let me have him. after begging, crying at her feet, she must have seen my desperation. she let him go of her spell, sending him off to me. that's when my desires got the best of me. rather than letting it happen on it's own, i trapped him in my charm, seducing him to be mine. time wore on me, and eventually, i simply couldn't do it anymore. i released him from the lie i was living, hoping like hell he'd fall in love with me. i wasn't expecting him to- i expected him to run, to leave. but he was there. he was in love with me. he wanted me. after some time, we married, and i have never been more in love in my life. i was so afraid of losing the only thing that meant something to me in this world, only to find out that he wanted me just as badly.
