biography
Peter Kim was born the second son of The Kims, a wealthy family born from the vegetables industry. Peter's older brother was raised to be the heir, the perfect son. Their father praised his brother for everything he did while his anger always seemed to find Peter. As years passed Peter fell more and more in the shadows while his brother shined. When Peter's father was elected one of the Mayors of Seoul, Peter couldn’t handle the pressure of the “perfect family” and snapped. While his brother was getting straight A’s and honour awards, Peter was getting suspended for selling pot in the bathroom, during his brother's senior prom, Peter was getting his infamous neck tattoo. Their lives couldn’t have been more different while living under one roof. However, on Peter's 18th birthday everything changed. Driving out to one of his family’s fields Peter and a few of his friends drank their stolen liquor through the night. The next day, however, the group was woken to the sound of a police siren parked next to their car. There had been an “incident” and Peter was needed to come with them immediately.
At the hospital Peter found out that his brother, perfect golden boy, had committed suicide by the drugs he’d found in Peter's room. Filled with grief Peter had little time to mourn before he was hit with another painful blow, his parents wanted him out of the house before they got back. Without being able to process what had happened, Peter had a single bag packed and was on the move.
For the first three days he found places to sleep. The playground, the school yard, the library. However it was on the fourth day that Peter found his true family. A person, associated with a gang found the teen tired, cold, and hungry. The fellow took him in and got him cleaned up, and treated him as his own blood.
Flash forward four years and Peter has all but forgotten his wealthy past. He lives paycheck to paycheck just like the rest of the 99%. He’s a student, and runs errans for the gang through and through. He’d die for them, just like he knows they’d die for him, and if his existence hurts his father’s reelection? Well that’s not his problem is it?
