As a youngster, Baekhyun was always pretty quiet, only ever really active around his closest of friends. So, his introverted behaviour began even in his earlier years. he has never found it difficult to get along with others, but if he finds it too awkward being around someone, the interactions would slowly dwindle down to none.
When he got older, went through high school and college, he was a lot better at socialising and soon enough, he became a librarian. it suited him quite nicely since he wasn't that loud of a person - at least when he was sober - and his interactions with others was minimal. it was also very peaceful and an easy-to-work-in environment for him - and it has led him to have worked there for the past four years.
As for how he got into airedale, he can't really recall, but he doesn't regret it since he loves the city. he just hopes that it really is a place where he could meet that special someone someday. After all, he isn't exactly getting any younger.
His ideal type would just be someone who can handle both his sober and drunk selves, and is also not too cold since that could just make baekhyun feel awkward. he doesn't care too much about the looks, just so long as you get along with him and there is something there to build a relationship upon!

preferring fewer, more intimate relationships with friends and those around him, baekhyun is an introvert of sorts, but he doesn't mind going to the club or attending the occasional party every so often. once he gets drunk though, he gets very touchy with the closest person - which is a pretty drastic contrast to his sober self. when he is sober, he is quite reserved and quiet, a quite polite young man.
when it comes to his friends though, he is more lively and isn't all too quiet. but that's just with his friends, he has a much more professional and polite attitude when around those he isn't all too close with. honestly, just don't be awkward with him and you might have just earned yourself a pretty great friend!
