about me
lots of people aren't who they say they are. some, for good reason. i'd like to think my reasons are just as justifiable. for starters, my real name is gong soo-ah. i went to mahoutokoro school of witchcraft and wizardy, like most of the magical kids in east asia. i graduated, i taught, i built a name for myself. gong sua, tamer of the fierce, maker of the loyal. i was a damn good dragon trainer, looped in by research companies, hired by schools, talked about in fairytales. i was a legend.
until one night i became a castaway.
mahoutokoro's prized chinese fireball got loose on campus, and i was the lead wrangler. it took me no time to track the beast, but something else tripped me up along the way. my party was ambushed by werewolves, ravaged and torn to pieces. me and my head researched were the only two to survive the attack. but i wasn't labelled a survivor; nor a hero. instead i was emblazened with another tag, "infected."
I was bitten that night you see, and the headmaster had no choice but to excommunicate me, for having a werewolf knowingly on campus was too much of a liability. i lost my job, i lost everything.

i was forced to become a recluse in order to learn how to cope with my newfound disability. i discovered wolfsbane, which allowed me to keep my human mind conscious during my transitions. i was safe, i wasn't a liability. but that didn't help people from slandering my name, for calling me dirty, a mutt. they didn't understand. they didn't want to, either.

after a few years of living under the radar, i had a friend help me out. we refurbished a new identity, and i became rue. i built a new background, i looked around for jobs. one called out to me in particular; as a professor for hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.
i had found my calling. i had found my rebirth.
