 About me
Background:

Born in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, one of the satellite cities of Seoul, Seungyeon grew up in a relatively average environment. Being an only child, she always had her parent's attention on her, or at least when they were at home, which essentially wasn't a whole lot, as both were busy at work (one being a researcher in a biotech company, the other an office worker in a big logistic company), trying their best to earn enough money to provide their little princess with only the best of the best, whether it was education, clothing brands, toys and so on,

From an early age on, Seungyeon had always had an interest in music, namely dancing and playing a toy guitar. Seeing how their daughter would never sit still when music was playing, her parents soon signed her up for dance classes at the local dance school at the age of 6. Trying out different dance styles, ranging from jazz to ballet and ballroom, the young girl's favourite ended up being hip hop dance.

At the age of eleven, her family moved to Seoul due to her father's work. Being the new kid at school who transferred mid-term, it was hard for her to find friends at first as cliques had already been formed. It was during her second week in the big city, when she strolled through the streets of her neighbourhood on her way from school and met a group of kids around her age dancing in the streets with seemingly no care at all. Watching them with fascination, it didn't take long for her to step up, bravely challenging them to a dance battle despite the knowledge that her skills were by far not on par with them. It's pretty self explanatory that she lost by a mile, but never before in her life Seungyeon had experienced such thrill and happiness.

That was also her very first encounter with Kim Jisoo, who later on would take  an important role in her life. Fast forward to the age of 13, instead of going to dance classes, Seungyeon would dance outside on the streets with her new friends, dreaming of becoming a choreographer when growing up. It was around then when the group of teenagers was scouted by a talent agency. Excited at the promise of becoming a world class idol, Seungyeon told her parents about the scouts that very night. To no one's surprise, both her mother and father were against it. Even though they tolerated their daughter's dream of becoming a choreographer, they absolutely couldn't agree on letting their 13 years old become a trainee. Not after the many horror stories of companies mistreating their employees and trainees they had heared. So while Jisoo moved on to become an idol, Seungyeon stayed behind, refining her dance skills.

Graduating high school, she then started working at a local dance studio as an understudy of one of the dance teachers, occasionally taking over her beginners class when she was busy. Having heared of Seungyeon's past encounter with a talent scout, her employer decided to use one of the recordings she took during a dance class to send it to various entertainment companies, all without Seungyeon's knowledge.
So when she was called back for an audition, the young female was obviously surprised, but being the daredevil she was, additional to her fascination of the idol world, there was absolutely no way she would back down from this challenge. In the end seungyeon decided to join W1SH entertainment due to its reputation and the fact that her friend from childhood days, Kim Jisoo was there as well.

Personality:

Seungyeon isn't exactly a people's person, preferring to spend her time alone in the dance studio or with a selection of very close friends. At first glance she seems distant, quiet, some might even say indifferent., an introvert, anti-social, but when talking to her she's not half that bad. It takes her some time to warm up to people and relax around them, but even when meeting someone for the first time, she's trying her best to be polite and nice.

When truly interested in someone, she will make an effort to get closer to them, trying her best in engaging them in a conversation.

Once comfortable, Seungyeon still remains the quiet, more serious type even though she will occasionally crack a joke, even going as far as teasing the other person.

OOC Corner
Hi there. Nice to meet you!

I mainly do 3rd pov (para, multi-para, novella) but can also write detailed 1st pov. Plots are always welcomed.

Oneliners are my pet-peeve, so don't expect me to reply when you throw one of those at me.
Another thing I can't stand are replies with no real content. I need something to work with. After all, when rp-ing, it means to write TOGETHER. I don't want to carry a plot all on my own.
