the sound of a bullet resonating in the air still haunts her dreams to this day. it was an accident. shiah didnt mean to let the gun go off. her finger wasnt supposed to press down on the trigger.

her father was a police officer. her and her boyfriend of the time were just nosing around in his office when they found the gun. she thought it would be cool to fool around with it. so they did, taking turns pretending to shoot other things, and only when shiah was curious enough to hold the gun properly did it all go wrong.
charged with manslaughter, at the age of 18 shiah spent 14 months in jail followed by 6 months of probation. from then on, shiah had spent her life living in the shadows. upon leaving jail and getting off of probation, she had moved out of her parents house and begun to keep to herself. constant nightmares plagued her sleep, and because of her criminal record it became hard to find a real job.
so she took up dancing. she got a job at a strip club, working as a pole dancer and earning money. one night, she ran into a man there who was working for one of the big companies. he noticed her talent, especially in the hip area, and decided to offer her a position as a trainee in his company. she took the offer, on one condition: her past was kept under the rug. he agreed, and thus she became a trainee.
shiah specializes in dance, though singing is also something she enjoys and focuses on.
since the tragedy, shiah has vowed never to fall in love with another. though, of course, fate may or may not have something in store for her.

personality
shiah has a very "i-dont-give-a-" attitude towards everything. she can act shy, but in all reality she isnt like that at all. she does have a sweet and soft demeanor to those she enjoys being around, but it's in a motherly type of way. if bringing up her past, she will stay quiet, and she may snap. otherwise, she's a fairly easy going person. just dont get on her bad side.
