background: his family was practically the cookie cutter edition of any suburban family—father as an alcoholic and a verbally abusive mother. taehyung grew up being estranged from his classmates who would decidedly call him “alien” for the rest of his grade school career. one day his senior year of high school, he came home to be met with the crime scene of his mother’s murder—the muderer none other than his father forever lost in his drunken stupor. despite his mother’s verbal abuse, she was the only one he had, and he killed his father in his fit of anger (at least, that’s what the rumors say). taehyung moved away for obvious reasons, choosing this location particularly because of the inefficiency of law enforcement in the area.
