biography
Tessa came from a pretty plain family, she likes to think. Her father passed away when she was eleven, leaving her mother to care for four kids. One of them, only an infant at the time. She's the second oldest in a pool of brothers which might be the reason why she's always been a tomboy. As the only girl, she wanted to prove that she could do any and everything the boys could do. Football, Basketball, Gambling, Spitting, Snowball Throwing, Drinking, Arm Wrestling, Video Games. You name it. If she could make it a competition then it was just that.
Her childhood was fun but high school was rough for her like it was for anyone. Her younger brother TJ attempted suicide his sophomore year, her Senior year. Tessa always considered the two to be extrememly close so when he tried to take his own life, her head was scrambled. Even though he survived and was able to get better, she still felt guilty for not noticing the signs, noticing the habit changes, the routine changes. The impact was so strong that she decided to go to school for clinical psychology. She wanted to help and in weird way she thought that by helping others who had gone through what TJ had gone through she would be making up for not being there for her own brother during his rough time.
Everything was going good. Tessa was in her second year of grad school, she had just picked up an internship at a local counseling center. Family was doing great, including TJ. She even met someone... Loved him. Adored him. Tessa assumes that the man felt the same since he asked her to marry him.
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage...
Then comes divorce. Not a clean one either..
However, Tessa is in a different place than she was four years ago. She's got her Masters degree, her Clinical therapy license and is working on her PhD. She's also got a sweet baby girl that is the light of her life. Tessa's accepted a new job at an Outreach Center in the area and while she can't afford a house, the neighborhood is nice and the apartments seem to be too..

Tessa can come off a little aggressive with an attitude but she's really just sassy. She's extrememly headstrong and independent which means she's too stubborn to ask for help when she really does need it. On other hand, she loves like no longer and easy to laugh with. Tessa also doesn't take any and will not hesitate to let you know when you're full of it.
