dionysus, the god of wine, god of arts, and one of the most famous god figure on earth, along with demeter. having a mortal mother, somele, and god father, zeus, he had an affair with her, ultimately cheating on hera. hera, not having found out until months during her pregnancy began planting seeds of doubt in her head and thus manipulated her into summoning zeus in all his glory. though, he tried to resist, he could not deny his oath and ultimately killed her because mortals were unable to withstand the incredelous powers these beings had, even if it was just a small amount. without herea knowing, zeus sewed up his son, dionysus, in his thigh and awaited until he was ready to be delivered; thus he earns the title of "the twice-born".
because of hera's wrath and bitterness towards semele and dionysus, zeus hid him. having been given to hermes as soon as he was born, hermes took the boy to king athamas and queen ino in which they took care of him by disguising him as a woman. with his delicate features and graceful beauty, it wasn't hard. his hair grew out, his personality was soft and kindhearted, and dionysus was easily hidden away from hera.
as he continued to age, he grew interested in grapes and the juices from it. his interest in winery sparked, teaching mortals about it as he traveled the world as a wanderer. along the way a goddess taught him about religious rites. eventually, dionysus was known for wine cultivation and arts such as religion, theatre, architecture etc.
eventually, he rescued his mother from the underworld, ultimately letting her become an immortal being under the alias thyone.
down to the mundane world, having to sacrifice everything, dionysus was not at an entire loss. he was already loved and known in the human world but thing was; he couldn't give away his identity. now under the alias yoon jeonghan, he is majoring in theatre arts and not so ready to take on the world.

jeonghan is a fruitful individual. he's also quite curious. he has a tendency of spacing out and forgetting his surroundings once his interests are piqued at something or something caught his attention in general. there's not a day where he accidentally skips class because he took a detour to get something and then took another detour because something was interesting and so on. he likes to be busy. jeonghan likes the packed schedule. he's easy to get along with; but is very hard to approach. it's just that he gives off a shy vibe most of the time but once you get to know him, he's incredibly outgoing and cares deeply for everyone, even if he doesn't know them or they don't know him.
