Hakyeon is a person that most people find pleasant to be around with. He is, for most times, a social butterfly because of his cheerful and easy-going demeanor. When you and him click he can go on about different topics for hours, but he definitely would listen to you in reverse. He puts people above himself and is fiercely protective of the ones he loves. Some may find Hakyeon's fretting behavior a bit suffocating, but it's in his nature. You can say he is born to give, and to love.

Hakyeon is a blessed one, since he was born and raised in a happy, loving family. His parents taught him to favor happiness before fames, so he is trying to spend his life doing what he loves. He is confident about his abilities because he works hard to achieve his goals, and considers himself fairly good at everything he does. Making candles at first was only one of Hakyeon hobbies – he loves dancing the most, with a burning passion. Fate decided otherwise. After being injured heavily in an accident, Hakyeon lost not only a leg, but also his only dream of becoming a dancer. Forever despair and broken, he finds solace in making candles again. Later he found out that people loved his creations and he also very much indulged in mixed and creating new scents of candle, so he decided to open his own candle shop.
