Personal Message

Still not a K-pop fan. Just some ordinary guy with two hobbies:
Running, and non-academic, not-so-technical, creative writing.

Manners maketh man.

Description

Name: Dennis Oh
Age: Twenty-Five
Archetype: Schemer; Liberator
Orientation: Aual-Heteroromantic
Occupation: Historian-Cryptologist

Background

Dennis works at the Department of History in various state universities either as a lecturer in History, or a researcher who decodes indecipherable ancient text. He specializes in war studies, which prompted a hobby of collecting ancient weapons and war artifacts. Unfortunately, these artifacts are costly, and his salary from the academe isn't enough to expand his collection. Therefore, Dennis also lends his services to the government by decoding secret messages from rival countries.

Personality

Alignment: Chaotic-Neutral
MBTI: INTJ

Character Inspired by:
Ben Gates played by Nicholas Cage (National Treasure films)
Tyrion Lannister played by Peter Dinklage (Games of Thrones)

"The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese." He lives by this quote when he saw the second mouse retrieve the cheese after the mousetrap killed the first mouse. Dennis is a cautious man, just like the second mouse. He prefers to act "stupid" even in front of his peers, because it makes them arrogant, loud, and careless—the most vulnerable state of man.

However, Dennis is strategic, influenced by the books he read about history, especially war.

Trivia: Dennis enjoys leaving jumbled letters to his students' test papers. They are answers to their pop quiz, and it can only be deciphered by using a Playfair square. Usually the keyword is his favorite ancient weapon.

RP-ing Style (Please read)

Flexible - The content is dependent on scene. The length is dependent on the content. For example, if we are doing an action scene or an establishing scene then the content is primarily descriptive and long. However, if the plot calls of a war of words or psychological warfare, then the content would be dominated by dialogue and naturally shorter.

Extra Characters - It is important for me to include extra characters (a patrol guard, or a passer-by) and I am willing to godmodd extra characters as long as they are male. I will consult with you before introducing a major-extra character that we can dispose at some point in the plot.
