Jaewon, as you know, is an arctic fox. They are hunted regularly, always out in hiding from humans or other hybrids [mainly wolves] who dont exactly care about their well being or just simply want something to sink their teeth in. Jaewon and his family had always hid far away from a lot of civilization for that reason along with another small number of foxes. Eventually they've been found out and were on the run once again but they weren't as successful. Jaewon and his little sister with 2 other young foxes were the only ones that had made it as the others [including their parents] were either killed or were found out as hybrids and taken to be exploited. How did they get away? Well his parents set up an escape route for the younger children and once they had found "civilization", they were to transform into humans and act as if they were lost. And that's exactly what they did.

They were all eventually placed into adoption. Sounds great? Not really. A family had came, adpoting Jaewon's sister, but not him. Their reason was because Jaewon was too aggressive [he was very protective over his sister when clearly abusive families tried to adopt them and it had just stuck with his attitude] and jaewon's sister had constantly protest. Sadly, his sister was taken away from jaewon with barely any questions asked and he was there by himself [not really, but he never socialized so he felt like so]. No one had come to adopt him. He had to move on with his life alone, until someone had found him off of the street and took him in. A nice, young lady that was living by herself and had plenty of room for jaewon. She was in her late 30s, no kids, no husband and found herself so interested in jaewon that she acted as his mother in many cases to help him. She even tried to help him find his sister [but no avail]. She revealed that the main reason why she helped jaewon was because she was dying. Leukemia. It had came back and was coming just as strongly and she had no idea when it could completely take over her body and kill her. Despite jaewon knowing this, he still kept by her side even when she passed. Jaewon would always keep her close to his heart even after he moved on. At this point, he had to find somewhere else to live, and he soon found this place.
