Born and raised in one of the busiest metropolis of the world, Lee Jieun has never really expected herself to be different from all the other grayscale people who roamed the streets of her hometown. She was the youngest child of a mediocre businessman and a housewife, who sacrificed her own career in order to make her family happy. She never excelled in anything education related - her grades were good, verging somewhere between Cs and Bs, she had problems with maths and couldn't stand anything that had to do with science. Instead, she has always had quite extraordinary skills in what concerned the aesthetic perception of humans; she adored literature, wrote her own poems and short stories and even thought about majoring in fine arts if the time for her having to enroll to university finally came. Sadly, that never happened.

After her parents divorced, Jieun finally found the ideal pretext she could use to become someone that she soon learnt to love and accept, unlike a lot of kids her age. She appropriated the luxury of expressing herself without caring about how others might perceive her, however, that never really mattered to her, as she has always been seen as someone along the lines of a weirdo - she hated sticking to the mainstream, the well-known and ordinary. After getting a few tattoos and piercings that scared off any potential wannabe acquaintances, rather poor life experience and a enormous desire to run away from what she already knew, she has left seoul during the very first occasion that appeared on the horizon of her being - at the age of 19, she moved to jeju with the pretext that the job she has taken up (helping out at a bed and breakfast) was nothing more but a good occasion to finally gain some working experience. the female did as she's promised - she worked during the whole summer and part of the autumn season, earning her first money with hard work but instead of coming back home... she stayed.

A lot of her acquaintances adore how Jieun seems to be a never-ending paradox that keeps growing in its inconceivable oddness. Despite her rather fierce looks (her piercings aren't ones that can be easily concealed with clothes and her tattoos - despite being mostly flowers and artistic things - aren't situated in the most hidden spots of the human body either), the female is one of the most warm-hearted people you might ever get to know. Goal-oriented, she's aware of her skills and the fact that she's great in a lot of things that need more than an university degree, yet her self-effacing way of being might make her appear as if she is too timid to factually agree to that. Venturesome, adventurous and bold, she doesn't shun the new and unknown. She doesn't talk too much but the sole reason for that is because she doesn't really get the point of view that silence is uncomfortable - she's rather one who follows the words silence is better than bull, as well as talk get hit. She can fight for what's hers and she won't ever let you win an argument if she knows that her point is correct and yours isn't. Imaginative and not scared of standing out from the grayscale crowd. If it comes to her flaws, she can be pretty overhasty - she hates waiting for outcomes and she loses interest quite quick if she can't see the results right away. She despises being told what to do, which causes her to seem rather arrogant and stubborn - which she factually is. She might come off as too straightforward as she usually says what's on her mind without trying to make the message look a bit gentler.
