Ever since she was young, her friends affectionately called her 'lip', and because Jungeun liked the nickname so much it just stuck.   Jungeun's seldom seen with a frown on her face, as she doesn't want anyone to worry about her.  The ability to repress her true feelings developed as a reaction to growing up with a single mother who worked multiple jobs to support her and her older brother.  She's the type to take matters into her own hands and sort things out by herself.  Jungeun is a good listener and a loyal friend to those she holds close.  

Her hospitality extends to animals.  In fact, her strong love for animals led her to regularly volunteer at a pet shelter since middle school.  Her dream is to become a veterinarian.  she takes care of a cat and dog Back at home.  And on the weekends, she spends most of her time with her pets.  The cat is a Russian blue, and her name is Udon.  The dog is a shiba and his name is milk.  

Outside of classes, Jungeun is either training with the track team or visiting the animal shelter.  On weekends, she goes home and can be seen giving Milk walks every morning and evening.
