He was alone all for most of his childhood. His brother was never around and his parents died when he was four. Diànjiǎ has been told many times that he acts older but that's just how he is. Diànjiǎ had to grow up as quickly as he did. No one took care of him and no one wanted him. He moved to Beijing some months later from Henan and he wasn't happy there. It was obvious. He was afraid of his uncle and hated being around him. He was hurt for every wrong thing he did and would spend most of his time locked up in his room. Diànjiǎ barely ate and didn't have any friends at school. He was alone for the most part. He was able to leave for Taiwan when he was about ten and lived with his cousin. Slowly, he begun to smile and laugh but those were rare to come from him. He was able to fake it in front of people with ease and looked up to his cousin. Diànjiǎ wanted to become an idol from that moment on. He joined the company his cousin was with and trained with trainees that were older then him. Though he was one of the youngest trainees in the company, he was at the top of all his classes. He had more friends in the company than at school. Diànjiǎ didn't mind though. He liked being by himself and was used to being alone. He did perform on stage as a stand in for some artists and then he became a backup dancer for solo artists. Diànjiǎ was popular amongst the female crowd and got lots of attention. He acted and modelled whenever he could. Diànjiǎ stayed with the company for four years before departing and moved to South Korea. He decided to audition for Sapphire Entertainment and he somehow got in.
Diànjiǎ always loved music. Even before he decided to become an idol. He loved it. For him, music was the only thing that made him happy other than cooking and baking. At first, he wanted to be a songwriter. Then he wanted to be a producer. Diànjiǎ just settled on being an idol first and he would learn the things he wanted as he gets older. He enjoys learning new things. He always been that way. Diànjiǎ likes to spend time just learning whatever he can. Just being on stage and perform in front of people is what he wants to do. Even if it takes him years to debut, he will work hard to achieve his dream to become an idol and be on stage. Diànjiǎ strives everyday to be the idol he aspires to be and will do almost anything to be one. Even just for a day, he will become that idol. Like his cousin, Diànjiǎ doesn’t care about what people say about him. They just don’t know him as well as they think they do. He keeps his past to himself and doesn’t like talking about it.
