Summary of disability
Henry is blind and this type of blindness is light perception, near total blindness. He can see shadows of people as his eyes can stil perceive light. In bright lighting, he can see the sillouethe of a person. He'll be lucky if he can see their face. It rarely happens but it still does. He relies on his scent and hearing. The scent will be the identifier of who the person is while the voice will determine as to where they are. Farther sources of voice make it difficult to determine for him where the source is as sound covers more ground as it travels.
As a Samoyed
Henry loves to be outside and explore the area around him. He loves to run around, beach activities, paying in the snow, and basically just goof off. Recommended times are around 8am-5pm (kst, due to the nature of the sun's rising and setting). After a day of activity, his ideal thing to do is to settle down with his love and cuddle.
Background, Personality & Appearance
Henry was a pet of a high class man in China and adored him with his playful and lovable character as a pet. Henry prefered to stay in his hybrid form to interact with his master and serve the love of his life.
What he and his master had truly is something special but his master's parents did not approve of such. Henry was only viewed as an item, a symbol of wealth to the family that owned him. His master loved him in return but the union between a hybrid and a human was something taboo among the wealthy as some hybrids are also treated as slaves or that their genes will carry the disability/condition of the hybrid.Henry's master truly loves him but she couldnt bare to see much less have her parents know about her love for her pet. She explained well how they can't be together but the love is truly there, how the timing and place was just not right, how every moment spent with each other was right. That's how she wanted to do it, how she wanted to tell Henry only to think that it will be harder for the pup to move on.
"You're nothing but a burden. I always have to take care of you, teach you this and that, guide you when we go. You're nothing but a broken dog. You're useless just like the rest of your kind!"
Henry couldn't remember what happened that day but those words rang in his ears every night before he went to sleep in the streets. He one day snuck inside a ship that was to sail on unknown lands to him but he was discovered the night after and was forced to leave. Lucky enough, there was a kind taxi driver of old age that noticed him and gave him a ride to the place where hybrids like him can have a home and maybe someday, have a master who will care for him.
Henry is very playful and always bursting with energy despite being mature already. He still has his child/puppy-like personality.
His disability is nothing to him but always generates funny scenarios that make him adorable and not difficult to love.
Henry loves to cuddle. Feeling the warmth of another has always been soemthing he loves. Falling asleep in each other's arms is an ideal time for him.
