At a very, very young age Taehyung watched his father kill his mother. Growing up in a rough neighborhood, no one questioned the man or the death beyond her "falling down the stairs". It was then left to Taehyung to look after his younger siblings, defending his sister and brother from the brute they called 'Papa'. It took only a couple years before he killed his own father in "self-defense". The case too horrible to even begin thinking of a child being the cause, it was closed and his father cremated, the monster never being able to harm any of them again.

The three Kims were then sent off to an orphanage where they lived together for a small while, Taehyung ending up breaking a few bones here and there. None his own, just those of kids who thought it would be a good idea to be picking on his siblings. Taehyung watched as his brother and sister were adopted by separate families, he himself left behind for another small while.

Needless to say, he didn't hang around long, hitting the streets around the age of 10. Soon enough he caught the attention of a mysterious being, the woman recruiting him and whilst promising that he would one day return to his homeland, he had somewhere else he was needed. Without a complaint and believing he'd come back to see his siblings one day, Taehyung left with the woman for a far away land.

Egypt. He had been recruited into a coven/organisation that looked for young, often abandoned children from troubled backgrounds that showed promise in killing. He'd gotten away with it before, why couldn't he do it again? Taehyung was set to training immediately, more than just learning various fighting styles and picking up weapon techniques. He learned of art, culture, new languages, more than he could count on one hand, the art of seduction, love, to get into someone's mind, their heart, their lives and how to thoroughly track them like prey, to make them his ready for the kill.

In no time at all he became the head of the ranks, his achievements boasted of and speaking for themselves. On his eighteenth birthday, Taehyung graduated and in his honour he was given his honourary title 'Nephthys', the patron and Goddess he'd been bound to and fought for since learning of the deities and being ordained under one. It suited him very well, the goddess and her connections to death, the mother of Anubis himself and her dealings with the whole ceremony of death. Now Taehyung has a beautiful tattoo of wings he shares with the goddess on his back, something he doesn't show to people very often or at all in fact. And... if you have seen them, along with that pretty, sweet smile of his. You're likely a goner.

With the promise to return to the oganisation on their believed doomsday, should it arrive, Taehyung was allowed to leave. As he did so, his tutor and the woman that had recruited him so long ago handed over her own sais, one of Taehyung's favourite weapons as well. Returning to South Korea, the assassin kept his promise, saw his siblings without their knowledge and after doing a little more digging, used his unique skill sets to rid them of some troubles he'd found.

He's spent years travelling the world and if you can name the place, Taehyung has more than likely been there on a mission. As one of the most dangerous hands for hire, he's always in high demand and there's a waiting list for your "problems" to be seen to.

Now at 27 years young, Taehyung still keeps up this job but has settled in Seoul as a mature student and works part-time as a barista, finding he enjoys getting to people-watch and learn other things in the process. He might look sweet, he might look a lot younger than he is, but this man is like ambrosia, have too much and you'll die. And just as any bright gem you might wish to claim as your own, he'll shine so brightly you'll burn, so be careful, for things really are not always as they seem...
